Ground Floor Beach Front Excellence! SR-7

Sea Rocket 7 is directly at the Gulf front on the ground floor, in the northwest corner of the building. The condo has nice furnishings, a new kitchen and bath, a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and a great beach view! The unit sleeps four guests with a queen bed and a double sleeper sofa in the living area. This unit is unique, tranquil, and relaxing. It is perfect to sit inside and enjoy the view, right outside and read a book, or out on the beach, taking in all of the amazing beach atmospheres! Come enjoy a unique and relaxing gulf-front getaway. The beach is right outside your door!! Please note: There is no guest parking onsite. There is only one assigned spot per unit.



Sea Rocket was built in 1950 and is a gem of a complex located in North Redington Beach, where the beach is simply dazzling! Sea Rocket is a small (30 individually owned units) complex where the condos are small, cute, clean, completely furnished, and equipped for shorter or longer stays. There is also an on-site laundry room. It is a charming, reasonably priced vacation spot steps from the white powdery sand and pristine water of the Gulf of Mexico. Here, you will enjoy breathtaking sunsets, walks on the beach, and fabulous shelling.



There is a large covered patio overlooking the beach with plenty of lounge chairs, a BBQ grill, and a shuffleboard for use during your stay. Colorful Adirondack chairs are casually placed around the property for reading, snoozing, or socializing with the unique community that is the Sea Rocket!



Redington Shores borders North Redington Beach to the north, Madeira Beach to the south, the Intracoastal Waterway to the east, and the Gulf of Mexico to the west. Redington Beach is primarily a waterfront residential community, approximately 1 square mile in size. The town of North Redington Beach lies in the heart of the Sun Coast`s beach communities, halfway between Clearwater to the north and St. Pete Beach to the south.



Redington Shores is just 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport and offers easy access to all major cities and attractions in the Tampa Bay area. Along the main stretch of Gulf Blvd, which links all these beach communities, you`ll find many popular and local breakfast, lunch, and dinner establishments and the Redington Long Pier for world-class fishing.

Perfect location

This was our sixth stay at Sea Rocket and we Love it. Great location, great place for a couple to Spend a week. Restaurants are close beach even closer. Walk out the door and you are in the sand.

Could have been perfect!

Corner studio, 1st floor, and 25ft from private beach front. This unit was in residential condo area with access to great food and local hangouts. Our only issue was the checking was rough! We didn't get our checking info in time. They had to credit us a night, which allowed for us to stay one more night. Over all it was a great experience other than the check.

My Beach Vacation

Fell in love the minute I saw the ocean view from the parking lot. Very tight parking for a full size pickup truck but management and other guests were very accommodating. The pictures do not do this place justice. Perfect size for a couple. Highly recommend!

Perfect beach front condo.

I've stayed in the room many times, always clean and the most comfortable bed. The beach is always clean and peaceful, this area doesn't have the "spring break" vibe that other beaches do so it's perfect for a quiet vacation.

Perfect Weekend Trip

The room was perfectly located. You could see the beautiful water from your room, the beach wasn't crowded. The room is spacious and has everything you need. As a side note, we travel a lot and this is the first place we have stayed that actually provided enough towels for the stay! This was a great surprise.

Great Stay

We enjoyed staying at the Sea Rocket Motel. The location could have not been better! Literally steps to the beach! The unit was a little tight for our family of 4 but we were only in the condo to sleep. My husband enjoyed the adjustable bed. Only two complaints - the water takes FOREVER to get hot. Like 15-20 mins for the bathroom and kitchen sinks and the shower. The pull out couch was ok for my toddlers but if someone bigger was sleeping on it, their feet would have ended up on the floor. The support under the foot of the mattress is gone so the mattress falls through the frame easily. Overall a great stay and we’re looking forward to going back!

18 steps to the beach!

Room was clean, just the right size for myself and my 12 and 10 year old daughters. The property and beach were amazingly quiet and not over-crowded. Location was perfect. The property manager was extremely attentive and communication was great. We had a plumbing issue our first night there and she had a plumber there within hours of our email. My ONLY recommendation would be to spray for the cockroaches. I realize they are called "Palmetto bugs" in Florida, but opening a utensil drawer with bugs crawling around is unsettling for travelers. We had to wash everything we used BEFORE using it. Otherwise, the room, the location was perfect. Would absolutely stay here again.

Check in went smoothly. This is a studio with fridge, cook top, and dishwasher in kitchen area with queen size bed. the location was perfect with tables and grill outside directly on beach. On our last day we saw some bugs which is common for Florida,, but place should probably be sprayed more often

Tips & Tricks to Sea Rocket 7

• Leave the lock alone. Don’t try to unlock and lock the door. It stays locked from the outside but still allows you to exit from the inside without changing anything. If you turn the lock there’s a good chance you’ll be locked out from the outside. • Start the shower way before you need it. The water does get hot most of the time. It just takes awhile. This is pretty normal for beach front places that I’ve stayed in so I didn’t mind. However do not expect the tub to drain. • Be careful with that stove top. One morning we went to turn the stove on and it popped very loudly and shot out some kind of flame before the burners no longer worked. I called them right away and they apologized and offered to have someone come look at it. However no one ever came, and I never heard back from them. The stove top did not work after that. • Expect the AC to run. At all times! It doesn’t matter if you have it on 78 your entire stay, the thing never turns off! This was okay for me because I need noise to sleep but I know some people like sleeping in silence. • Prepare to have your Netflix, Hulu, etc. passwords. They have a nice smart TV- all you need is your logins from home to enjoy your normal shows. • I can’t really comment on the beach. The red tide was there when we went. If this is the case for you expect a terrible cough, itchy watery eyes, stuffy nose, etc. the smell of fish, and cloudy waters. We just went to Fort De Soto when we wanted to be on the beach and had a wonderful time. They did clean the beach at sea rocket daily and kept it looking very nice. • If you’re flying in there are plenty of transportation options! We Ubered all the way to Clearwater Beach for $20 but the majority of our trips were much less than $10. There’s also very nice places within a mile to walk to and currently you can take the trolley for free Overall we thought our stay in the sea rocket 7 was okay. This definitely wasn’t the ideal vacation thanks to the red tide, however it was nice to be able to drive to other nearby beaches and spend our time there. The location is great being close to Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Pete. We did ask for early check in over 48 hours in advance however we didn’t hear back until the day of. We still were not told if we would for sure be able to arrive early or not but they did call us as soon as our room was ready which was prior to 4pm (normal check in time). The beach and stove situations not ideal. Easy check in & out!
