"We travel a lot, Germany was not necessarily the easiest to find small properties with reasonable prices. Many businesses had intentionally inflated their rates because of Oktoberfest. As fun and festive Oktoberfest is to experience, the event is located in a large outside space that you need to find your way to, and navigate through thousands of festival goers and probably get discouraged from paying for overpriced food and beer, especially when it’s next to impossible to enter a bier garten....

"The location is absolutely stunning. 2 minutes to central train station, where you can find everything. 15 minutes walking to first Karlplatz and then Marienplatz, the most charming site in Munich. One stop by U4/U5 to Oktoberfest. The hotel is very safe and very clean. The staffs are very helpful. I didn’t have breakfast in the hotel b/c train Station has more choices. Very pleasant to stay there. Strongly recommend."

"The staff was friendly and thoughtful, leaving a plate and knife for the apple I’d left in my room and a bookmark for the book by my bed. Nice touches!"

"Overall, the hotel was great! Only issue I had was the bed was so hard, no give or cushion to it. Pillows are hotel pillows...not the best. This hotel is in Alstadt (Old Town) Munich and is very close (2-3 min walk) to Marienplatz train station and lot of the sights (Marienplatz, Viktualienmarkt, St. Peter). The staff were amazing and they will hold your luggage for as long as you need while exploring, even after you check out. If I come back to Munich, I'd definitely consider staying here...

"Beautiful hotel with clean rooms, convenient amenities (hot water appliance), free drinks (seltzer water, beer, apple juice) in fridge and delicious breakfast with plentiful options (eggs, sausage/meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, juices, fruit/vegetables). Conveniently located near attractions all within walking distance and near metro stop. We took Lufthansa Express Bus from airport (12 euros one way) which dropped us off at city center, then walked 150-15 minutes to hotel. Friendly staff....
