"Staff form front desk to shuttle driver were SO NICE!! They were helpful and generous. Our room was nicely renovated and very clean though the AC unit made some weird noises as it cycled through."

"Nice view of the lagoon from the room. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is adequate, though I would prefer plain yogurt in individual cups. The air freshener in the room is a bit strong for my taste, but not a problem with some airing. On the whole I had a good experience and would stay there again."

The Stanyan Park Hotel is a perfect example, from the foyer, to the photographs on the walls tracing over a century of history, to the old-world style of the rooms. "Overall the hotel was clean, safe, and provided a good stay. My only negative was that there was a weird person constantly in the lobby area throughout my entire stay, which put me off using the amenities in there when needed. They didn’t seem like a guest but maybe staff on break? Not sure, but they were there every time over multiple days and made it very uncomfortable"

"I’m convinced my sheets were never changed. Pulled back the comforter to get in bed and the sheets were wrinkled on just one side of the bed, you could tell they were not clean/ changed. They just made the bed and moved on. I have pics "

"Arrived around 6pm. Given room key without any directions. Room located on 3rd floor. Had to use stairs. I’m 74. Asked where to park, told in the back. My room was at the absolute opposite end of the hotel from the back. Had to wander back and forth down endless hallways, Room looked like it was used for odds and ends. Mattress was not comfortable. "We were there visiting grandkids. It was roomy, comfortable & well-equipped. Set-up worked well bc my husband has sleeping issues due to a medical condition so having the 1-bedroom made it possible for me to get some rest while he was trying to settle in at night. The area is good also for walking our dog--very safe neighborhood. "

"I’m honestly surprised this hotel has such high ratings because our experience was very disappointing. Walking into the property felt more like stepping into an outdated motel than a hotel. While I understand that you “get what you pay for,” the ratings online made us expect something much better, so it felt very misleading. The first room we were given had lights that didn’t even work, so we had to go back and request another room. The replacement room we were given clearly wasn’t ready yet....

"Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmer zum Innenhof ruhig. Man hört zwar den Straßenlärm, aber so, dass es uns wirklich nicht gestört hat. Wir haben sogar verlängert und wären gerne noch eine Nacht länger geblieben- aber es war ausgebucht. Toll war, dass das Auto in einer Einzelgarage stehen konnte. Es gibt engere und breitere Garagen.
