Luxurious, spa-like retreat steps from Main St.

When French Canadian fur trader Louis Blanchette arrived in 1769 in what we now know as St. Charles, he saw the beautiful rolling landscape and named it Les Petite Cotes, or The Little Hills, the namesake of our newest guest house.

The Little Hills Guest House is a property designed for the ultimate couples getaway- quaint and charming in atmosphere, but luxurious in amenities and comfort. A romantic escape complete with freestanding soaking tub, 3 fireplaces, huge coffee bar, and your own private spa-like experience. You won’t want to leave!

Heading up the path from the private parking, you’ll see a relaxing hot tub to your right under the deck with a pull down screen for extra privacy. Upon entering you will walk into your very own spa-like experience. A 2 person sauna, complete with Bluetooth speakers, is ready to rejuvenate your body, clear your mind, and sooth your muscles for a deep and restful reset. An electric leather recliner loveseat sits next to the sauna where you can kick back and watch the big screen TV while you use one of the two foot massagers. Or for the full massage experience, head to the next room outfitted with a heavy duty massage table, 5ft linear fireplace, soothing frequency sound machine, healing red light therapy panel, essential oil diffuser, all lite by romantic candle nooks situated around the room. Off the massage room, is a full bathroom, including a large tiled walk-in shower with dual shower heads.

If you head up the stairs to the main floor, you’ll be greeted by stones walls leading into a full kitchen including a built in nook dining area and coffee bar that is built for the coffee connoisseur! There is a Nespresso Virtuo espresso machine with pods and a milk frother (milk not provided) so you can make yourself a latte, cappuccino, iced coffee or just a shot of espresso to get you going! For the traditionalist there are fresh coffee beans with a grinder, french press, and electric kettle; an array of delicious flavored syrups and creamers, and for the non-coffee drinkers, an assortment of teas.

Take your hit cup off comfort and go sit by the large stone fireplace in one of the reclining leather chairs or the comfortable reading/lounging nook. If you’d rather enjoy your beverage outside, there is a deck off the kitchen overlooking the private backyard and historic St Charles.

The last level to explore is the quaint and cozy top floor bedroom. A large linear electric fireplace with stone surround can be seen from every angle of the room. A queen bed sits comfortably in the windowed dormer- a memory foam mattress and ultra plush topper guarantees the ultimate support and comfort while you sleep or watch the flat screen TV. An additional TV across the room in the opposite dormer is viewable from the luxurious free standing tub. Relax in the comfort of your stone surrounded, tree top level bath while you look down on Main Street and all the way to the Missouri River! If baths are not your preference, there is another full shower, tucked in under gable, with a large built in bench looking directly on the fireplace and stone.
