Experience the epitome of luxury and serenity at our stunning gulf front home on Saint George Island, Florida. Recently crowned the "Best beach in America" by Dr. Beach, the SGI state park is just part of the charm of this bucolic island reminiscent of yesteryear. This newly constructed six-bedroom, six and a half-bathroom beachfront cottage offers the perfect blend of elegance and comfort, with each of the 4 king bedrooms featuring their own en suite baths. Two bunk rooms, each with separate bathrooms.

Indulge in the ultimate coastal living with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico from the family, dining, and kitchen areas, as well as three of the king bedrooms. The open concept family room has a 77 inch Sony Bravia with surround sound system for family movie nights or maybe a game of football. The extra large sofa and swivel chairs provide plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. The bedroom level boasts ten-foot ceilings, while the top level of the beachfront cottage features twelve-foot ceilings, creating an open and airy ambiance. For convenience, an elevator provides easy access to all levels.

Prepare gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen, a chef's delight featuring top-of-the-line appliances including a Wolf range/duel oven, Thermador dual refrigerator/freezer, separate Zephyr beverage cooler, U-Line ice maker, and KitchenAid Artisan mixer. With two Thermador dishwashers, cleanup becomes a breeze. You will not be disappointed cooking a large family meal here!

The main floor king bedroom offers incredible gulf views, luxurious bedding, and a spa-like romantic bath, complete with remote controlled auto blinds system for privacy when desired. Throughout the cottage, you'll find exquisite furnishings and decor in soothing whites and grays, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation.

Outside, a spacious beachfront grilling and picnic area awaits you with dining for 20 people and additional seating area which provides ample seating for all. You will enjoy cooking on the Big Green egg with Charcoal provided for you where you can savor delectable meals in the open air. Your private pool can be heated seasonally upon request. Additionally, we provide beach chairs, a paddle board, and a plethora of beach accessories, ensuring you have everything you need to make the most of your time by the sea.

Our first time on Saint George island and we want to come back every year! This house was perfect for our extended family of 10, ages ranged from 80 to almost 1. I had a long list of concerns before our stay since this was our first family vacation since my father had a stroke, which left him with limited mobility. Every time I messaged the owners, they answered me quickly and with such concern and empathy. Location was perfect, with a very private strip of beach. Crowds were non-existent. Beach was quiet, peaceful, and full of big shells for the kids to search for. The sunrise off the balcony was absolutely gorgeous. The walk to the beach had only two steps, which allowed my father to access and enjoy the beach with the rest of the family. A few restaurants on the island allowed for good meals. It is a short trip into Apalachacola, where we were able to enjoy a good brewery, chocolate shop and adorable stores. We are a family who loves to cook on vacation as well. The kitchen was stocked with tools, dishes, and appliances that we needed. There is a small grocery store somewhat close and plenty of fish markets for fresh fish. We had been told by friends that the grocery stores are very small, so we did bring a few things with us (like seasonings and snacks). The elevator worked well which was required for our stay. The house was stocked with a high chair and pack & play for the infant, games, books, and pool toys for the kids...everything is thought through. Will return.

Great house with all the amenities you need for stay at the beach. We worked remotely for five weeks and had excellent internet and phone connectivity. Plus great space for two offices with rooms left for weekend guests. Plenty of spaces to spread out, great pool area and porches. And, cannot beat the walks on the beautiful and expansive beach. Great fresh seafood for cooking or at the restaurants.

Beautiful beach front property. Host has thought of all you would want or need for a great relaxing stay. Walking the beach every day, and watching the calming waves roll in from one of the homes gorgeous porches is the best! The chefs kitchen with high end appliances made it very easy to just stay in and relax. Highly recommend!

This property is exactly as shown. Perfect layout and location. The pool has a great view of the ocean and bikes were a great add. We did the 6.5 miles to the lighthouse and back one afternoon. A few rainy days, so we went into Apalachicola and Port St. Joe for some wandering around. Every detail was well thought out. Very comfortable stay for the 4 of us…we could have easily had 2ore couples.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Dancing Seahorse! It is exactly as described in the listing. The house & furnishings are gorgeous and from the moment we walked in, it felt like home! The house is stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances, dinnerware, utensils, & more. The beds & bedding offer a high level of comfort. The host provided board games, jigsaw puzzles, & a wonderful selection of books. The pool & outdoor living space with ample seating provides the ideal location for sunset dinners. The beach chairs, pool toys, & a paddle board made it easy to keep our grandchildren entertained. The communication with the host was awesome. During our stay we enjoyed a double rainbow, making this a special place in our hearts! Dancing Seahorse is the perfect place to relax, recharge, & enjoy our family. We can't wait to return next year!

Our family of 13 ranging in age from 2 to 62 spent 7 nights at this beachfront home and it was FABULOUS!!! We didn’t feel cramped for a moment. There is so much space for everyone, with wide hallways and kitchen walkways. No one was bumping into each other as you might expect with 13 people! The outdoor spaces are magnificent and plentiful with patios/decks on each of the 3 levels plus an amazing swimming pool and ample hot tub. All literally only steps to the beach - no long walkways here! As gorgeous as the listing photos are, they truly don’t capture the beauty of the home or the location. By far the most lovely vacation rental I’ve ever visited!

The house is very well equipped with top quality appliances etc. plenty of beach gear and bikes. The host definitely deserves a 10/10 rating. Very quick to respond and very obliging. We have rented a lot of vacation homes in the USA and overseas and for the reasons stated this is the best one and we have already booked for next year.

Our extended family (age range 65-18) loved everything about our family vacation at dancing seahorse.. The house is stunning and really incorporates the ocean front- which is just steps away - into the decor. Outside eating areas create a wonderful dining experience. The pool, the hot tub, the bed porch swing just add to the perfection. Many thanks to Paige for sharing their beautiful home. Can’t wait to come back!

We have rented many vacation homes over the years but none have come close to this amazing home! The house balconies were perfect for watching dolphins pass by. The pool was perfect for a swim when the little ones needed a break from the surf. The high end cooking kitchen was fully appointed with everything we needed. The furnishings and decor were beautiful! If you are looking for a relaxing and laid back time away from the hustle of some of the other beach destinations, this home won't disappoint!

Spent three weeks in Jan./Feb. working remotely and enjoying the warmer temps on St. George Island. House was perfect location and accommodation to do so. Plenty of space, great design, fully equipped and very clean. When we travel somewhere to live for an extended period, we bring our own pots and pans, knives, sheets, etc. For this property, it was unnecessary. Quality of housewares and furniture was top notch. The Plantation neighborhood is a very nice planned community with great places to walk and bike. St. George Island is a bit isolated but part of the charm. Some of the best fish and seafood ever at 13 Mile Seafood Market in Apalachicola. Several excellent meals in Apalachicola. Overall, would highly recommend this property and the island.
