Great stay! Quiet and private while still having great access to all the fun things. The nature trail right outside the back door provides great access to the beach as well as the main trails. There is a nice yard space for the puppy too!

This house was exactly as described. It was exceptioonally clean, with a very nice kitchen and woderful decks on both levels. Very easy access to the beach. The week was terrific!

Excellent location and experience at this sweet home. Details were well attended- we can pack a lot less next time because the owners have thought of everything (for us and our dog)! Highly recommend!

This home had everything we needed to enjoy life at the beach for 6 weeks. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, quality towels and linens, a short and scenic path to the beach. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We will be back!

We loved the easy access to the beach for walking. The house was comfortable and nicely laid out for 4 adults. Our hosts were very responsive and easy to work with. Very quiet with a lovely porch swing to enjoy sunrises.

The host was welcoming. The house was clean and had great porches. Close to the beach. And it was very easy to get to.

Wonderful trip with wonderful accommodations. The separation of the upstairs master suite was fantastic. Plenty of plates, glasses, kitchen tools, etc. Easy walk to the beach and the wagon provided was a godsend. The chairs provided looked to be brand new, and there is a lot of older beach equipment near the outdoor shower. Having multiple porches was nice. Beds were comfy. Filtered water in the fridge was a nice bonus! TV/Internet was smooth and easy. Only request woild have been a broom - unless there was one and we couldn’t find it. There was a vacuum cleaner provided, though. Would definite stay here again

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This was our first time at SGI, and we loved it! The island is wonderful with great places to eat, lots to do, and the house was perfect. We would love to stay here again.

Great outdoor spaces, especially the decks and extras for the beach provided. Easy walk to the beach. Great kitchen amenities. Very comfortable beds and furniture. We would stay here again.

November Getaway

We repeated our stay this year for another 2 weeks. The house is well appointed with linens and towels in like new condition. My dog loves the big yard. I did wipe down the kitchen when we arrived. The views from the upstairs master are great. My husband really enjoyed the screen porch. I would suggest adding bath mats in the bathrooms and some additional large size mugs.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Argonauta in the Plantation on St. George Island. The lush native vegetation around the property really stood out. It provided a welcome sense of privacy and made the setting feel peaceful and natural.One of our favorite features was the short walk along the nature path to the beach. It made access easy and added to the overall charm of the location. We also made great use of the screened porch, which was a lovely spot for meals and relaxing.Inside, the home is simply and tastefully decorated, creating a comfortable and uncluttered space to unwind. We appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout, including dish soap, dishwasher and laundry pods, tissues, liquid soap, dog waste bags, and a small selection of candy.There were plenty of towels, along with brand new beach chairs. The beach cart, additional chairs, umbrella, and toys were all very convenient and made beach outings easy to enjoy.Overall, the home was comfortable for the two of us and our two Weimaraners, and the natural setting and beach access were highlights of our stay.

Lovely Home!

Great house in an excellent location. Privacy and quiet away from the hubub of town; walk to beach in 2min. Furniture and bedding was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Host was incredibly easy and prompt in communication. Highly recommend!

Great Beach Escape on St. George Island!

We enjoy the beach in winter and St. George Island did not disappoint. We loved walking on the beach, the sunrises and sunsets, it was all very relaxing. The owner was very responsive, the house was neat as a pin, and quite comfortable for the two of us. We hope to return. Thank you for sharing this beautiful spot with us.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely perfect for my wife, my son, and I. The house was immaculately clean and well-appointed, and as a rarity on the island, not too big. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the short 2-3 minute walk to the beach, and from there a short 20 minute stroll to the jetty or the pool. (or a two-minute car ride). The beach chairs and the beach cart were a huge bonus. Thank you, we plan to be back!
