Rustic Campground Cabin

Enjoy the simple charms of this rustic one-bedroom campground cabin that has a nearby bathhouse for showers and toilets and is equipped with a quaint kitchen that provides coffee and cooking oils and herbs.

A brand-new full-sized mattress with freshly washed bedding awaits and will provide you with a comfortable night of sleep.

In addition, two new futons in the living room provide pull-out beds and more room for two more sleepers.

Freshly washed bath towels, beach towels, fluffy pillows, and bathroom amenities are also provided!

This rustic cabin is nestled within Hidden Acres RV Park (formally known as Twilight Acres Resort) and it will be a quiet lakeside getaway for anyone who comes to stay.

Please know that this cabin is only open from May to October, as it is not winterized. We do provide a new window air conditioner for the warm summer months, and portable heaters for the cooler days in the spring and fall.

This cabin provides cold water only, a new toaster oven with air fryer and double countertop hot plate for cooking. Also, a refrigerator, a coffee maker and clean bedding, but not an inside bathroom. A bathhouse with warm showers and toilets is located a short walking distance away and a gas and charcoal grill are both provided for outside grilling right outside the front door.

Hungry? Just walk to the Hidden Acres RV Park Restaurant and Bar that is open from Thursday to Sunday. We would love to see you there. It's a fun place to meet up with the other campers and local residents. Daily hours are 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.

The best part of staying in this little campground "cottage" is that you will get to enjoy nature and a small campground community. Most importantly, you’ll be right near Big Lake and all of its fantastic fishing, swimming, and boating options! So, bring your own boat and fishing poles or rent one of ours and plan to have a fun and relaxing time on Big Lake in Richmond, Minnesota.

Rustic Cabin at Hidden Acres RV park

My daughters and I spend labor day weekend in this rustic cabin. Cosy, had most everything we needed. People were friendly, music, food, fishing and swimming. Fun for ALL.

Hidden Acres Review

The whole experience was great! Staff goes out of their way to take care of you. Onsite restaurant now serves breakfast on weekends, saving me 2 trips into town. Thumbs up!

If only the weather had cooperated

The cabin was great but we would not rent again due to no bathroom. We were aware that there would be no bathroom but didn't realize what an inconvenience that would be. The owners were very nice and kept us informed when there was bad weather headed our way.

Very delightful place

My only negative is that the bathroom is in a separate building about 100 feet away. Other than that, it was great. Well stocked kitchen, BBQ burner, comfortable beds, lots of towels, sheet and blankets, loon nesting area nearby, lots of bird songs, swimming beach.

Amazing

Everything was great. Manda was wonderful to work with, very friendly, accommodating and timely with her replies to my emails. Less than 5 minutes after we arrived the camp hostess greeted us and was so helpful. She checked on us several times (another gentleman that worked/lived there did also) but she was very respectful about it. They only checked on us when we were outside. Manda undersold the cabin and supplies. The cabin has new furniture, very cozy and we could definitely tell it's loved. Not to mention stocked up. I was blown away when we arrived. I had never rented a cabin before so really wasn't sure what to bring. I used her list of things in the cabin as a reference so I knew what was already there. I packed "accordingly" (or so I thought). She has everything in that cabin. As we were leaving to go home I realized I didn't need to bring anything but my clothes and food. The bathroom/shower area was even great. Very clean, private and it had all the amenities too. Shampoo, conditioner, soaps etc. Next time we plan a peaceful, beautiful, get in touch with nature get away...Manda, her cabin and this campground will be without hesitation my first call.

We had the best time. We met the owner & 3 other people who help keep things tidy. Very friendly. We enjoyed ourselves so much we want to go back next year. Going during the week was the best. We pretty much had the place to ourselves.

My Parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary

My husband and I loved our stay at the quiet cottage. It was perfect for having others over for BBQs and S'mores. We also thought it was a relaxing place to fish and read by the water. Looking forward to coming back.

Great people terrible value

There were three of us for the weekend. The people were great. Very helpful. Unfortunately the cabin was far from comfortable. Please remember this cabin only has a window AC unit that can't do much for the cabin. The furniture is far from comfortable. Two of us slept or attempted to sleep on pull out couches. We probably would have gotten more sleep on the floor. The bathrooms are single stall, one for men, one for women not far away. Small bath house for a large place. Be patient. The cabin is tiny and rough. Needs new furniture. The freezer can't freeze anything. Lines at the bathroom. Overall this place was terribly overpriced. We will not be back.

Cozy, clean, friendly, accomodating! Just amazing little property! Only down side is how far away from a grocery store it is, but really excellent location and people! There is a bar on site, docks for boats and fishing. Primarily an RV park, but really great stay! Would love to come back!
