Cozy woodland lodge

My wife and I and our adult son stayed 10 nights in July/August for a nearby family gathering. The lodge was beautiful, spacious (bigger than we needed!), clean, comfortable, quiet and very well equipped -- we were easily able to prepare lasagne for 14 in the kitchen. The location is quiet with convenient access to nearby activities and amenities, but it all requires some driving. Unfortunately a combination of heat and Canadian wildfire smoke kept us from enjoying the extensive outside spaces much, but the AC system was a lifesaver. Communication and logistics were seamless.Our only real concern was that the water, though conditioned and tested, smelled a bit off, and left some orange iron stains on white items when we did laundry.

Friends Getaway

This was our second time staying at this cabin. It is really great, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the windows really needed a cleaning and there wasn't enough TP for our group for the stay. Otherwise, it was a great cabin!

Just being in this cabin was a vacation in itself. We enjoyed how spacious it is yet cozy and warm, how unique and interesting every corner of the cabin is, and how calm and serene you feel being inside. Everything was great from the hot tub to the basement movies to the sunsets and sunrises.

Great Getaway

This property is accurate to the photos. We had a great time with four couples hanging out, cooking, playing games and making memories. Exactly what we were looking for with our kiddo free weekend. The house has multiple common spaces to gather and have a variety of surroundings (inside and outside). We loved the location and opportunities in the communities not far away. We would visit this property again and would recommend it to friends/family. Thank you for the memories Lodge Life!

Awesome Cabin

We booked this cabin for our annual friends "weekend" that turned into 4 days of fun! It was the perfect location for us near to our friends land so we could ATV the trails and go down to the little bar down the road, go to the lake and drive to the Danbury casino. It was so amazing to have such a beautiful property (with A/C!!!) and comfy beds to sleep in when we were finally ready to retire for the night. We hope to come back next year!!

Beautiful Hideaway Up North

We loved our trip to the Springbook cottage, the owners were responsive and lovely to work with. The cottage is beautiful, the location is private yet close enough to Hayward and other local communities so we were busy yet relaxed. The firepit and jet tub really were fantastic!

Unfortunately a funeral brought the family to this beautiful property, it was calming and relaxing. We enjoyed fires around the fire pit and meals on the deck. Great to reconnect family from across the country.

Perfect Getaway

This cabin was beautiful and spacious enough for our party of 8. Very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The cabin was exactly as shown in the pictures. We also enjoyed seeing a bear out back from the deck! Would definitely recommend and would come back. The host was very easy to communicate with and had very quick responses!

Great location, close to Hayward and Spooner. The property is beautiful - deer sightings in the morning and evening. The cabin is very nice, clean and had everything we needed for a nice winter vacation.

Cozy cabin in the woods

From check in to check out, the host had exceptional communication. The property and cabin are exactly as listed - our two families of four had plenty of space, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved the wooded location and enjoyed the nearby trails. We enjoyed the quiet area and the bar down the road. Not having a dishwasher was not an issue as we put our teenagers to work with the dishes - this should not deter your stay! We would love to come back to this cabin to celebrate another Christmas/New Year!

Exceeded our expectations!

We had the most relaxed Thanksgiving ever! The kitchen was well stocked with every implement we needed, and we all slept like babies in the comfortable beds. We did a whole lot of nothing and just enjoyed the couch, wood stove, and each other. It was perfect!

Amazing

Amazing Log cabin. Owner messaged me back almost as fast as I messaged her about a confusion I had. Had an electric skillet and crock pot which is not at many places. They even left us leave some trailers parked when we did some water fall looking after we checked out of the cabin. So very worth the stay. Just make sure you be the first one to pick beds in your group and realize theres king beds and queens. My screw up but still a great place to stay.

ATV Get AWAY

The cabin was extremely beautiful.. Everything was perfect.. love the decor.. The ATV trails in the area were awesome!!! The suggested bar/ restaurant were wonderful. Cindy was a great host and answered my questions quickly. Would recommend to friends and family and would definitely stay here again!!
