Welcome to Captain's Corner

Captain's Corner is the perfect lakeshore getaway, offering the ideal mix of comfort, space, and location. Nestled in Spring Lake and just a short drive to Grand Haven, this welcoming home is the perfect spot to relax after a day exploring the lakeshore. Spend your evenings gathered around the firepit, grilling dinner, or challenging your group to a game of foosball in the basement game space.

Inside the Home
Step inside to a cozy and inviting main floor featuring a comfortable living room, a full eat-in kitchen, and a separate dining area perfect for gathering together. The main level also includes a queen bedroom for convenient first-floor sleeping. Upstairs, you will find three additional bedrooms. Downstairs, the basement offers a fun hangout space complete with a foosball table, card table, additional living room area, and a convenient kitchenette, perfect for snacks, drinks, and game nights. For additional sleeping options, there is a sleeper sofa in both the main floor living room and the basement living room.

Bedroom Configuration
Captain's Corner comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests across four bedrooms.
Bedroom #1 (Main Floor): Queen Bed
Bedroom #2 (Upstairs): Queen Bed
Bedroom #3 (Upstairs): One Full Bed and One Twin Bed (bunk beds have been replaced; layout remains the same)
Bedroom #4 (Upstairs): One Twin Bed
Additional sleeping is available with two sleeper sofas located in the main floor living room and the basement living room.
Please note: There is no bathroom upstairs. Full bathrooms are located on the main level and in the basement.

Outdoor Space
After a day at the beach, enjoy the peaceful outdoor space featuring a firepit for evening gatherings and a gas grill for summer cookouts. The home also includes an EV charger, making it convenient for guests traveling with electric vehicles.

About the area
Captain's Corner is ideally located in Spring Lake, with Spring Lake just a short walk from the home and the sandy shores of Grand Haven State Park only about a 10-minute drive away. Spend your days soaking up the sun, strolling the boardwalk, visiting local shops and restaurants, or enjoying everything the Grand Haven lakeshore has to offer.

Great location

It fit our family nicely. It was close to Grand Haven, which was a plus. The area was nice and easy to get around. Nice area and beautiful beaches. We all had a great time! The company was great to work with.

good location and clean

Lots of good things - the location is good, the property was clean, and having several living areas and dining room table made it easy to congregate. The upper deck is a plus. Only thing that was a problem was that the upper bunk of the bunk bed has such an incredibly small clearance that it is unusable, even a small child would not be able to sit up in it.

Great Location!

The place was VERY clean and updated. Plenty of space to congregate and hang out. We spent a lot of time playing board games at the outdoor patio tables. Loved going to the beach on Lake Michigan. Also enjoyed the free summer concert series on the river. One thing to keep in mind- there's a lot of steps. There is 1 bedroom on the same level as a bathroom. The other bedrooms are upstairs with no bathroom on that floor. Our group didn't have an issue with this, but I can see others who have trouble climbing stairs running into problems.
