"The reception staff were wonderful - nothing was too much trouble. I left my phone charger at home and they lent me one for the weekend. The room was a single and clean, although the decor was dated (the description did say it was a Victorian building). I had breakfast both mornings at The Galley Restaurant which was an all you can eat. The food was hot and fresh and had everything you would expect for a buffet restaurant. I also ate in the hotel for the Saturday evening and was made to feel...

"Easy parking at this smashing hotel, bar and restaurant. There are lovely views from most rooms. Breakfast is great and remains as good as it has been for the last 15 years. The young receptionist was an absolute gem, let us pray that she continues in hospitality as she will be sorely missed. "

"Easy to self-check in, perfect location, and lovely, clean rooms. The views are wonderful no matter where you're situated in the hotel. I've stayed here many times and will be back for many more. My only minor complaint is that it's a shame the car park isn't subsidised. Other than that, I can't fault this place. "

"I asked for a sea or garden view room, and I got one! Easy 5 mins walk to town centre, but a bit longer on way back due to steep hill. All staff were extremely helpful."

"Nice main building situated on a large property with a lot of walking area and great views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. Hopefully my next visit there will be without rain so I can explore more."

"Lovely Themed room ,staff were so accommodating and friendly we couldn’t fault this place and the food was incredible "

"Food is excellent and beds are very comfy. It's old-fashioned in that it's a conversion of an older building, so windows are single-glazed and the doors open with actual keys. But the rooms have everything you'd expect from a professionally run establishment. Staff are all friendly and professional though you sometimes have to seek them out – hardly surprising as there are only six rooms so they can't have someone permanently on duty."

"The property is stunning, set in beautiful grounds, and the staff are lovely. They’re welcoming, accommodating, and were wonderful with my daughter, who is neurodivergent. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone."
