"Absolutely wonderful place. The staff were some of the nicest, kindest people. Always responsive with a smile. Place had amazing views from the patio. The only issue we had was that we were only there for two days."

"Situated in the beautiful village of Castlemola, this comfortable hotel offers unrivalled views of Mount Etna. Well worth getting a room with a balcony and mountain view. Breakfast was good and varied and the staff extremely accommodating. "Stunning We nearly never booked this hotel based on some reviews and the pics made it look a little dated. I’m so glad we did. It’s not dated, it’s classic, it’s grand and magical. The grounds to the pool are stunning, the pool makes you feel you are chilling by a millionaires house, not a hotel. The location couldn’t be better, everything is close by and walkable. We didn’t even go to the beach, as the pool was too nice to leave. "

"We liked the Hotel overall. Some details were not perfect, for example the bathroom could be in a better condition. The a la carte breakfast was very good but very small portions. All in all a good hotel for 1-2 nights to explore the Etna area."

"We loved it here, traditional Italian hotel, very spacious, lovely pool but it is deep, we had a sea view which was spectacular and had a large lovely light room, good breakfast really friendly & helpful staff and piano in the evening, it’s about 15 mins to walk up to the centre so may be abit much for anyone with walking difficulties. It isn’t modern but I’m glad it isn’t, for the price it’s excellent. cable car to the beach and it’s at the bus station with lots of options including tour buses,...

"It’s a beautiful small property with a very cool design. Fairly rustic though and with a bit of a farmhouse feel and therefore maybe not for everyone. Managers and owners Giacomo and Paola are both fantastic. Giacomo in particular was a superstar, passionately speaking about the wines of the winery and the region, giving us great restaurant recommendations and really going above and beyond with a smile.
