About this space
Historic Colonial home at the center of Spencer Village. Front of the house has beautiful large pillars and architecture. This 3-bed/1-bath stay is cozy and comfy with restored timber frame and built in the 1800s.

Walk to the park, fish at Nichols pond, hunt locally, eat at the diner, and more! Located at the base of the Finger Lakes, within 25 miles of Ithaca, Watkins Glen, Montour Falls, Cayuga Lake, Seneca Lake Wineries, NASCAR, Ithaca College, Cornell and more.

Park in the large shared parking lot. Apartment number 4 is around the back, up the ramp, then you will enter and go upstairs.

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment is in a beautiful historic building from the 1800s, which gives it a lot of charm and character. Inside, everything was spotless and just as pictured. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay — from kitchen essentials to cozy touches. The location was great, close to everything but still quiet. Overall, a very clean, cozy, and well-kept place

Wonderful, quaint stay!

My mom and I went to Candor to visit her hometown and childhood friends and we chose this location to stay in Spencer. It is within a beautifully and well kept historic property. While there are other units we had our own dedicated space and we wouldn’t have known anyone else was there. Conveniently located next to Nickals park and Lake which was beautiful and has a convenient little mile hiking trail around he water. The diner down the block and the pizzeria are delicious! I would definitely stay there again!

Awesome Stay in Spencer

We had a wonderful time here! It was extremely clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for for a family vacation. Perfect location to a cute park across the street for kids and walking distance to grocery store. Really beautiful location.

Cute apartment

We stayed one night after a wedding in Ithaca. Cute apartment with typical amenities but nice added touches like coffee and creamers, tea, nice soaps and lotions. Area traffic somewhat loud was all.

Spencer

The accommodation in Spencer was perfect. It was 15 miles from Ithaca where we spent most of our time with friends who live there. It was clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. There were some bottles of water in the fridge for us to enjoy. Will be back in the not to distant future.

Great for family visit to the Finger Lakes

Very relaxed setting in the middle of Spencer, kids liked the proximity to the pond and walking trails. There is plenty of space to relax during the evenings and the well equipped kitchenette made it easy to prep meals and picnics alike. Easy access to Cornell, Ithaca and Elmira/Corning. Great location for families visiting the area or prospective students.

Spencer’s finest!!

We absolutely loved our three bedroom upstairs cottage area. Everything was clean, Chris left us little treats and drinks and it’s at a perfect location there. My wife and I hung out On the awesome column front porch and saw a walking path across the street and went to the beautiful lake over there. By far this was our best place to stay in our whole trip. Easy communication and very comfortable

Great stay for a couple of families doing college tours

It was a great place for two families each with one parent and one child. Cleanliness was exceptional. Beds comfortable and fresh. Was easy to make ourselves dinner and breakfast for a quick college tour.

Cozy place and great hosts!

The hosts were very helpful and responsive, and they provided some really nice extra touches to make our stay more comfortable. Some snacks and toiletries if you forgot anything. The place was very cute and clean. We were there in the middle of summer and there was air conditioning units in two of the bedrooms and the main area to keep it comfortable. The house and grounds are beautiful. Thanks for providing a great home away from home!
