Cozy Downtown Carriage House

This newly renovated, 250 sq ft studio is located on our main property but is separated by a privacy fence and has its own private drive and patio. It is two blocks from downtown shops, entertainment, coffeehouses and restaurants.

It is minutes from Spearfish Canyon, walking distance to the Spearfish City Park & Historic DC Booth Fish Hatchery, a 15-minute drive to Deadwood, a 20-minute drive to Sturgis, 1-hour to Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park and a 25-minute drive to all the winter sports the hills has to offer.

The kitchen has all utensils, pantry items, dishes and pots/pans you will need for your stay and a local, family-owned grocery store w/ spirits is located less than a block away for a quick trip to stock the fridge.

The bedroom/living space has a queen size murphy bed with a couch, chairs and a 50” smart TV for plenty of room if you decide to stay in and hangout.

The recently renovated bathroom with walk-in shower comes stocked with towels, beach towels, basic toiletries and hairdryer.

A private driveway with outdoor patio has chairs, a fire pit and a grill ready for summer evenings.

This property is the perfect size for a couple's getaway but can accommodate a family with small children with extra sleeping mattresses available.

Spectacular Spearfish

We enjoyed an incredible weekend staying in this carriage house - conveniently located within walking distance of downtown. Literally sooo clean. The bed was so comfortable- and the decorating was charming and sodak- appropriate.

Nice little cottage

This is a very nice little college, so close to downtown and Spearfish canyon. We really enjoyed the location and the parking was adequate for our trailer that held our ATV and enough room for our Bronco. It was a lovely, quiet neighborhood and a nice view of the foothills.

Perfect Carriage House

The carriage house was perfectly located, clean, comfortable , within walking distances to fantastic restaurants & grocery . Spearfish is just a great place . Melissa is a wonderful host with a great style. Thank you for everything, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Baseball weekend

We were in Spearfish for a baseball tournament and stayed in the cozy downtown carriage house. It was a cute little place that met all our needs. The location was so perfect and the bed was very comfortable. It was a great stay.

Perfect place for myself and my husband.

Property was clean, in great shape, had everything we needed. It was so nice to have information included about Spearfish!! That grocery store was so nice and just so close. We really enjoyed the walk ability to downtown. Your cottage is surely a diamond!! We would stay again!!

It was great little place. reminded us of our studio house when we were first married 40 years ago. only issue was TV wifi/remotes, but host helped to resolve, even being out of town. we would recommend renting

Perfect location

My niece and I spent a long weekend here. The drive to Custer State Park, the drive through the scenic byway, and the walk downtown for coffee made this spot the perfect place to stay. It was cozy and comfortable and quiet. I hope to come back again!
