"The home was newly renovated and the host did an excellent job creating a modern farmhouse design. Gary (our host) supplied us with everything we needed to have an awesome experience including coffee, spices, water, firewood, detergent, soaps, etc. We enjoyed the hot tub and made a huge bonfire. If we ever come back we would definitely stay there again! "

"Carol was very attentive via messages. Calfkiller Cottage was comfortable very quiet and well appointed. We were visiting family who lived 1.2 miles away so the location suited us well. Great shower with great water pressure. We would stay there again. "

"Lovely property. The farm, sauna and cold plunge were a nice surprises. Owner Jeff was wonderful letting the kids feed the animals and including a goat walk. Every morning they looked forward to finding eggs. Our granddaughter asked if we could make this a tradition every year. Thank you!"

"What a fantastic weekend getaway! The cabin was so charming, and the hosts were incredible, Rachel and Steph gave us so many wonderful recommendations. The town was filled with friendly locals and AMAZING RESTAURANTS! Spent the weekend chasing waterfalls during the day and spent the evenings dancing around the cabin to different records. We highly recommend this stay!! "

"The location is absolutely perfect! The view from the deck and two of the bedrooms is nothing short of spectacular. The house is so warm and welcoming. Every bed, even the twin beds were very comfortable and that is from my 55 year old brother who thought he had been demoted (he was the last one to arrive) but insisted on staying in the single bed when my nephew left and a king bed opened.The water pressure is fantastic throughout the house. "Nice, new, comfortable, modern home, nicely decorated, with stunning view of the lake, and gorgeous sunsets. There is another house next door, otherwise, you feel very much like you are tucked away by yourself, and the overall feeling is peaceful and serene. Beds were comfortable, home is open, bright and airy. There was a very friendly and very adorable well-fed neighborhood female black dog who came by to visit us daily, and we looked forward to her visit.There was an annoying gnat problem in...

"We were pleased with the amount of space available, the cleanliness, and all of the items stocked in the kitchen. The screened-in porch was perfect for reading and listening to all the creatures around. We were pleasantly surprised with the campground’s fireworks display on the 4th and the sunset pavilion was perfect for photos!"
