  • Cabaña ubicada en el bosque en el lado tranquilo de M. D.I. con excelentes vistas del puerto exterior y la isla. Mascota amigable. A poca distancia de la ciudad y del puerto deportivo Great Harbour con más de una docena de restaurantes en el área, así como el sistema de autobuses Island Explorer Shuttle (23 de junio al fin de semana de Columbus) a casi todas partes en M. D.I. y el Parque Nacional Acadia. Minutos a Acadia, senderismo, ciclismo, kayak, natación, escalada, observación de aves y ballenas, y mucho más.
    Esta es una nueva cabaña, completada en el otoño de 2012. Esta es una casa de dos dormitorios con un gran loft principal. El loft tiene una cama king size con mucho espacio y dos armarios de almacenamiento de media altura, el dormitorio grande tiene una cama queen con espacio para colgar y guardarropas, el dormitorio pequeño tiene literas gemelas y almacenamiento de vestidor. La cocina está abierta a la sala de estar / comedor con un techo alto. Hay un futón doble en el salón para dormir extra y podemos suministrar un colchón de aire también. Podemos acomodar a más personas en nuestra otra cabaña (Homeaway # 956783) si tiene un grupo grande o una reunión familiar. Todo el interior es de pino nudoso con pisos de madera laminada, pisos de corcho en el baño y calor radiante de propano. El patio exterior es de piedra de guisante con una parrilla de barbacoa, mesa de picnic, sillas, sala de estar y escalones a un área de fuego de piedra de guisante.

We LOVED our stay!!! Honestly, it was better than the pictures. Incredibly clean, had every amenity needed and the perfect place to relax have a long day hiking or exploring MDI.

Great stay!

The cottage was perfect for our time in Maine. It was the perfect distance from Acadia and the crowds of Bar Harbor. It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed to come back and relax after long days of hiking.

We loved this property for our family of four. It was cozy, well equipped and in walking distance to town. We also enjoyed the backyard fire pit!

Quiet getaway

We stayed a week in this quiet vacation house.Made many beautiful hikes. House was very well equipped. Beds were very good. Location close to Southwest Harbor center with a nice ice shop and good coffee at walking distance.

The Perfect Retreat

My family and I really enjoyed the cottage as a place to relax after long days of hiking and exploring Acadia. The accommodations were perfect, and it’s also in walking distance to several restaurants and shops as well. We also really enjoyed being able to have our dog with us to experience the park! Thank you again for an amazing stay!

Great cottage!

Amazing cottage in walking distance of southwest harbor. Clean cottage with easy check-in, well stocked kitchen, great views of the sunrise. Added bonus of allowing our dog to come with us on vacation. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay!

We loved Vicki’s cottage! It was super clean, the kitchen was very well equipped and the setting is amazing, so quiet and in the middle of the forest. It was really nice to be away from the crowd. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely would not change a thing about our stay at Cottage 2. We took in all that Acadia had to offer. Hiking, Ocean Drives, Sunsets and Sunrises, along with the Lobster Rolls. Cottage 2 tucked nicely in the trees made for peaceful and relaxing evenings. The cottage was everything we had hoped for and more. If we get back to Southwest Harbor, the quiet side of Acadia we will definitely stay again. Thank You for making our stay a memorable adventure.
