"We enjoyed our stay here for a football weekend. The location (easy walk to Harvard Square) was a highlight, and it was a good value. Note that as the host mentions, it is an older building and so it has some quirks, particularly the stairs which might not be great for folks who have mobility issues. We'll seek this place out again if in the area."

"This turned out to be the perfect place for us to spend Thanksgiving with our family and friends. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the location really couldn't be beat. There are some cute cafes and brunch spots nearby, the public transportation was easy to navigate, and the off-street parking was a huge plus. Also, the hosts were extremely responsive. Highly recommend!"

"The location was very private and peaceful. There was an area downstairs for hanging out together, playing pool, or just watching a movie. Upstairs our group of 5 adults and 3 kids were able to eat together in the dinning room or lounge in the living room, talking, reading, or working on the puzzle we brought. There are some items on shelves and in cabinets that seem breakable, so maybe be aware of that if traveling with small children or pets."

"The most appointed place we’ve ever stayed. Maxine was so generous. Everything you’d need to cook, bath and sleep was available. All appliances were top notch. Only issue, due to our age was the steep stairs. Definitely recommend if you stay in the Boston area. A car is necessary though. "
