"Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont."

"Extremely appealing motel accommodations in lodgepole and rustic wood construction. The outdoor pool is set in a lawn and is near shade trees. The pool deck is beautifully arranged with outdoor furniture. The hot tub in a separate structure was very pleasant to use. Our room with standard double beds shared a verandah with other motel rooms. The verandahs have a deep roof overhand to shade them from sun and weather and are furnished with benches and throw pillows. They made a good spot for me to...

"The manager was so very helpful! He even printed out a document for me. The lobby and breakfast area were beautiful. Sidewalks for walking. Clean room and comfortable bed!"

"We enjoyed breakfast both mornings. The room was spacious and quaint. Unfortunately, despite putting the sign on the door as directed our room was not cleaned. We had dinner at the Inn one evening. Meal was good but waited almost an hour for our appetizer. A new staff member (her first day) was very pleasant and helpful. Overall a good stay and we would return."

"The room was spacious and very clean ! Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed having a balcony. We also LOVED the pool ! It was such a nice place to relax. Great location (10minutes walking distance to the city center). Staff was also very nice and accommodating. Only reason why I did not give a 5 stars overall is because the free breakfast was below average. But would 100% come back !"

"The Inn is a lovely spot for a quiet and relaxing break. Tech free! So don't plan on watching a world cup game on your room TV! One thing not mentioned in the reviews is that they have these cool stave puzzles you can put together in one of the sitting rooms. "The receptionist was VERY nice and helpful when we checked in. We enjoyed our stay until 5:30 the next morning when the trash truck arrived very loudly outside our window. It was loud and continuous. Then we went to breakfast and the lady who served the breakfast (I didn’t get her name) got very upset because someone had dropped a lot of crumbs on the floor.
