South Padre Island Beach House Retreat/Upstairs Unit

South Padre Island Beach House Retreat is walking distance to beach public access and popular bar and grill, convenience stores, and other tourist attractions. This beautiful beach house has just been totally remodeled with upgraded lighting, flooring, kitchen, showers and air conditioning. New furniture and smart TV's with wifi throughout the house with live streaming. Plenty of parking for guests and entertainment. Fishing or enjoying the beach is great since you're only 50 yards from the public beach access. It's the perfect cozy beach house with original cedar wood. Outdoor deck with seating and views of the beach. Upgrades include storm resistant windows and privacy window shades for your convenience. Kitchen has new and upgraded cabinets, stove, refrigerator and microwave. This particular unit is upstairs and has a separate downstairs unit available for large parties as an additional rental. Both units rent independent of each other while the upstairs unit is the larger of both. Please call 253-229-1287 if you have any questions.

A Great Home Away From Home

This home was a great place to stay. The communication with/from the host was awesome. It really does sleeps 8 very comfortably. The neighborhood is fantastic and friendly. Great location to the beach, restaurants and the shopping strip. We highly recommend this home. We can't wait to return!!!

GREAT

The unit was as listed. Enough of space for a family of 8 to be comfortable. We loved our stay here! It was perfect for our family. The beach is also a short walking distance.

Updated and very close to the beach

As others have stated, communication with the owners was fantastic. They really went the extra mile to make sure everything was right with the property and we’re also very helpful in offering local suggestions for eating and entertainment. Location is on the north end of golf Boulevard which is quieter and less crowded. Very easy access to the beach, maybe a half a block or less. Great view of fireworks at Clayton‘s from the deck porch on top on Friday and Saturday nights.

Fantastic beach getaway!

My husband and I brought our 5 and 2 year old boys with us as well as my mother. The house was so nice and clean with great upgrades. We loved that there were 2 bedrooms so everyone could have their space. We were able to bake pizzas in the oven and heat up other items in the microwave when not out to eat. It was a nice surprise to see the place already had extra portable chairs, a beach umbrella, boogie boards & sand toys for us to use as well. The walk to the beach from the house is so close, so that was very convenient. You can't beat the price for the location and how nice the house is...We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay and 3min walk to beach

The house was perfect very short walk to the beach. Loved that it had all we needed for the beach, umbrella, chairs table, and beach toys. Everything you would need for your beach stay is here. Loved this place and will be back for sure.

Awesome place

Our stay here was fantastic. The location is perfect. It is on the corner of the street directly across from beach access, so it's only a 5 min walk, and there is also a small corner store down the street for ice, drinks and snacks if needed. There is a small view of the ocean from the balcony and living room window. The place was just as shown in the pics. Clean and well kept inside with plenty of towels to use for showering, as well as towels for the beach. They also have beach chairs, umbrellas and toys to use as well. There are smart TVs, loaded with almost every streaming app, in every room along with free wifi to use so just use your existing login info to use whichever service u may already have. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay and would definitely book it again in the future.

Great house and location!

This house is amazing! It has everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation. Bill and Liz are amazing and very hospitable! Location is wonderful - within walking distance to the beach! Definitely would stay here again!

Had everything we needed for house and beach! Great view & sounds of ocean. We will be bk! Loved it!

House was clean with a great set up. Towel pantry was fully stocked. Had everything we needed! May need some new sheets as the sand has roughed them up. But the overall stay was excellent! See ya soon

Bad communication

Owner sold property days before our arrival. Had to cancel and rebook at higher rate due to new ownership. New Owner was staying in room we rented, so we were downstairs first night because of this even though we had booked upstairs (larger place). So had to move upstairs next day when they finally left. Was being charged for upstairs entire time. Got charged cleaning fee for downstairs even though was the Owners mistake. Was picking up owners child's toys which were blowing in street and Owner acts as though I am stealing his dollar store toys. (Those are my kids toys...) yeah I know I was picking them up out of the street. But no thank you or anything. Oh well..... Loved the island, but will book elsewhere next time. Hassle not worth time and money spent on this place.

Perfect location

We showed up and the property was clean and nice and cool. It had all the amenities including sand toys and beach chairs. Right across the street from beach access. Owners were easy to communicate with. Will be staying here in the future!

Best beach cottage by the sea!!!

We enjoyed staying at this house because of its location and views!! The owner even had beach chairs and umbrellas for us to use during our stay....and the best thing about it is that you're just steps to the sand/beach access!! Its beautifully remodeled

Great place in great location

The house was very nice. Clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed it. My daughter and I took the short walk(virtually right across the street!) to enjoy a really nice stretch of beach. Incredibly convenient! Would definitely recommend.

Cozy Beach Retreat

Short walk to the ocean, close to kite locations, close to breakfast burritos, close to corner gas/market, and Sea Turtle Inc!!! Amazing TVs with Roku, kitchen appliances that are really efficient, newly remodeled bathrooms.... What is not to like? Our stay at Ernest’s beach house was amazing. We are looking to come back next winter.

Perfect Spot

One of my favorite places to stay! This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The location is close to beach access and on a corner with good views. The layout is perfect for family or friends. Room for many yet still cozy for a few.
