"The room was clean, and staff was helpful. I found it strange that the front desk had restrictions on the TVs volume. Remote would not work or couldn’t be adjusted without their assistance. The coffee maker in the room and refrigerator did not work properly. The refrigerator froze everything, when adjusted it was either to warm or way to cold. The air conditioner was so loud, it made it difficult to sleep. This was not somewhere I would stay again for longer than a night, our 3 day stay was...

"Very clean hotel with attentive staff. Parking was a bit tight, but okay. All rooms seemed to be on the 2nd and 3rd floors with the reception desk and breakfast area on the first floor. Beds were comfortable, linens nice. Rooms had carpet."

"After an impromptu decision to visit our youngest at Tech, we booked a room at The Ashmore Inn and Suites in Lubbock for the holiday weekend. We’ve stayed there, as well as many other Lubbock hotels over the last 30 years. Ashmore has never been anything fancy or fantastic, but clean, safe and reliable.

"The room looked clean, but the beds where horrible, they had nothing left inside the mattresses. I had a cockroach run from under the desk when I moved the chair. Overall I don't know how this place is still in business. It should be illegal. My family and I didnt even end up staying there. We found a much much safer, cleaner Hotel few miles down the road at the same price."

"This was a great hotel stay! The breakfast was fabulous, I appreciated turkey sausage served instead of pork. The library/business room was equipped with a large round table where I was able to get some work done on my laptop. A staff member closed the sliding doors to reduce the amount of noise so I could concentrate. I sincerely appreciated that! If I am in Lubbock again I will definitely stay here again."

"The bar was the best thing about the stay. The bar tender was very nice. Although the older lady working at the front desk was very rude at check in and through out my stay with them. I asked and paid for a king room with a kitchenette but she rudely gave me a standard king room. I will never stay there again!"
