"Our family of 4 had a wonderful time at this charming and comfortable cottage. Driving on the beach was intimidating at first, but it added to the adventure and fun. We also loved using the kayaks and paddle boards to explore the canals and sound. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a unique way to experience the outer banks, without the crowds and traffic, this is it! We will definitely be back. "

"Excellent remote location! We rented a 4 wheel drive Expedition and my daughter drove an AWD Terrain across the beach to get to the house. The house is awesome and you'll see wild horses everyday. The closest grocery store is the food lion in town so plan accordingly. The owners have the house stocked very well but book this house and enjoy the privacy and driving one minute to the ocean."

"The house is well equipped for a family stay. Lots of beach chair and toys, games in the living room and the beach super close. We didnt have internet while we were there because of a lightening strike that fried the modem the wk before but honestly we didnt even need it. Phil dropped off a jet pack for us but we didn't even use the tvs."

"Perfect stay at this lovely house in Carova Beach. We loved the deck safely providing a place for our golden doodle to play, kitchen with most everything needed to make delicious meals, comfy furniture and beds, nice deck overlooking the ocean and beautiful sunrises, horses in the yard, and our first experience watching baby sea turtles heading to the ocean. What a beautiful time we have had in a beautiful house. Thank you!!!"

"Ive stayed at this property 4 times I believe since 2017 it hasn't changed a bit. And thats why we love this place. Its so quiet and peaceful there. Brought my kids this time and it was a hit. We fished, kayaked, swam and just soaked up the sun. Its close enough you can hit the Outer Banks or go in to Virginia Beach. I wont even consider another place to stay when I come out. I recommend going to Coinjock Marina for dinner or lunch we do that alot. The swing next to water was a great added...

Has the ability to park a boat if you bring one. Great fishing and the view is amazing and you get visted regularly by the horse. Will definitely be staying here again. "

"We had a wondeful time. Kevin is super responsive. Saw horses almost every day. Enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboard provided. House had plenty of room. Quiet area. Canal front was a new experience for us and it did not disappoint. Easy car ride to beach. We would definitely book this house again."
