"Everything about our stay at this lovely place has been perfect. The house was so beautiful, neat, clean and the decor was so pretty! The view was so amazing that we enjoyed watching the fish jumping, the turtles popping up their heads and the ducks and geese on the water. The furniture and the bed were so comfortable. It is very highly rated and recommended. We loved being there!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Sunset Cottage very much. Sunsets were beautiful (see photo) and accommodations were great. Only issue we had was the coffee maker was not advertised as a Keurig. Minor setback was quickly resolved with a visit to the local Walmart . "

"Perfect location for our entire family to come together and enjoy a vacation. This home is amazing, with everything we needed to make memories... plenty of dishes, everything for meal preparation, multiple refrigerators (18 people need a lot of groceries!) and lots of spaces for family members to gather and hang out. "We spent the weekend at this cottage and were able to host a graduation celebration for approximately 25. There was good space for accommodating a BBQ. Steve was very responsive and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with needed items. Beautiful view of the lake! "

"Since we have kids in 3 states it’s challenging to get gifts home after our Christmas so about 5 years ago we decided to just pay for our family vacation and that would be everyone’s Christmas. Making memories and not having things that break or your outgrow. We had a lovely time at Lake James and hope to come back in 2 years "

"The cottage provided us everything we needed. It was easy to get in and out and the owner was very responsive to requests. I have not had a gas stove since I was a kid living at home and I found that cooking on it was like riding a bike. It gave me a bit of nostalgia as well.The location was great for us. Close to town, and to our own cottage that is currently gutted. Also easy drive into the Lake James/Jimmerson area - which of course you need to arrive to Tom's Donuts early if you don't...

"Here for the week with children and grandchildren. The house is beautiful and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The best part was the "bunk room" for the grandchildren. [all eight of them] They could all stay in one room and had such a great time hanging out together. Communication with Kim was incredible! Had one very small issue with the stove and it was resolved immediately. Would highly recommend this house for large families. Thank you Kim!!!"

"We had an amazing stay at the lake house! The home is beautifully furnished and decorated and had all the amenities we could ask for and more! The beds were so comfortable with quality bedding. "We had such a wonderful time kayaking in hidden alcoves on the lake, cruising around on the pontoon boat, and enjoying a beautiful view while toasting marshmallows over the campfire. The house was beautiful, quiet, and super clean. The beds were comfortable and the inside temperature was wonderfully cool. The fridge had plenty of space. The bunk bed setup was absolutely charming. "Cute, quaint and comfortable, and fit the four of us. Loved the kayaks on the quiet lake. Great stop in Angola (hit the arts fest and farmers market). Friendly neighbors too with the cutest dogs. And Fort Wayne definitely worth a visit - especially Promenade Park!"

Before 10a and after 6p everyday the lake becomes a 10pm lake which makes it extremely enjoyable. The A/C inside the house was dual zone, great and much needed!
