This spacious home can accommodate up to 10 people (kids under 5 Do Not count), secluded in the forest on Aravaipa Road off of the Pioneer Trail area of South Lake Tahoe. This fully furnished property offers great amenities such as a large game room with full sized pool table and foozball table, formal dining area for 8, and a deck/patio area with patio furniture and charcoal grill for BBQing with your friends and family overlooking a very large backyard. (10,000 Sq. Feet.) Come relax in the master suite with its own King Bed, and get lost in the feeling of this true rustic cabin, Winters & Summers alike. Free Wireless Internet.

You can also take advantage of the hiking and biking trails just steps away. This property offers plenty of parking with a 2 car garage and extra parking for two other cars in the additional parking area.

Driver's License will be required and requested for all bookings. Failure to meet minimum age requirement upon check-in guest will be evicted and will NOT be refunded for the entire stay.

Pet Policy: This property is dog-friendly for 1 to 2 dogs. Please reach out to us for breed/weight restrictions as well as dog maximums. Advance notice is required, and non-refundable pet fees of $75 per dog apply. Dog owners accept full responsibility for dog(s). Please note without prior knowledge to HomeBeds, there will be an additional non-refundable charge, so be sure to advise us BEFORE you travel.

No Smoking: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay a $300.00

We provide a complimentary starter set of paper products, toiletries, and linens. Additional items will be the guest’s responsibility to purchase.

Instead of security deposits and booking fees, each booking includes Property Protect, a limited property protection plan, to provide peace of mind to both our guests and homeowners. The pictures made the property appear to be much better than reality. The house was not clean. The backyard was not fenced in and overgrown with weeds. The fence was in serious disrepair. We chose this house because we thought there would be a fenced in yard for our dogs. The tvs did not have remotes that we could find to operate the tv. We had to use a different remote to operate a tv in a different room. The place needs a deep cleaning. On a positive note, the neighborhood was nice and the water heater was quick with good water pressure.

Tahoe ski trip

The property was nice overall. The biggest issue was the advertisement showed 2 full size beds in the loft, that were not there when we arrived. People ended up on couches. Plus, the bunk beds are only suitable for small children, not adults. They were fairly lumpy and rickety. We had some issues, like the grill was filthy, the furnace filter had not been changed in years (everyone was sneezing, especially those with allergies), and a few other things. However, when called, the property manager and Love Rentals were right on it! The property manager fixed the issues and brought over 2 automatic blow-up matresses, which did help. They were very responsive. They also provided a bit of a rebate which I thought was fair for the trouble. The game room was great, we had a lot of fun with the pool table and foosball. Location is 10 minutes from Heavenly, and in a quiet neighborhood. Garage fits 2 full size trucks, and the kitchen was nice.

It was like staying at a summer camp run by your grandparents

The location of the house is nice and quiet with walking trails and an easy 10 minute drive to town. The house itself left some things to be desired. It was like staying and your grandparents house (musty and outdated) but also summer camp (janky bunk beds and squeaky everything). The kitchen has the basics, the house didn’t get cold, but there were ants and spider webs all over (looked like it hand not been cleaned in weeks but they told us we couldn’t get early check in because the cleaners would be there). The back deck was broken and being worked on while we were there and the property manager was nice enough to refund us a night due to the inconvenience which was appreciated. Overall most the rental properties in this price range looked just as run down so really you are getting exactly what you pay for by booking this spot.

Pioneer Stay

Disappointed. Back Patio was unusable and unsafe due to a jack holding it up. Back yard was overgrown. Couldn't use. No internet service for 2 days. Most beds were unsleepable. No air conditioning yet advertised as having. Upon checking out, I introduced myself, returned the key. Was barely acknowledged or asked how the stay was. Won't rent from Love's again

I used to live in a modified bus for a few years and this house is only 2 steps above that. Didnt want to make a fuss about it Only because I didn't want to ruin the rest of the family trip. Wishing I could get a refund

Family Reunion

In town for a family reunion my family stayed here. The property is older with a number of cosmetic blemishes but was comfortable and well situated for going to places in South Lake Tahoe. There is plenty of room and a large double garage. Management was responsive to questions and easy to deal with.

Nice allocation, dirty house

House was poorly kept. Felt very dirty, garage didn’t work, ants everywhere. Even the garbage bin was broken. Beds were terribly uncomfortable, floors squeaked with every step, remote batteries were dead. There were a bunch of easy little things that could have been fixed to make the stay much better but management did not take the time. Pool table was the only plus.

Great Activities Cabin

The property was very nice. Convenient that it had a pool table for an activity. Backyard was fenced in so we did not have to worry about our kids. Not so much about the property but the communication between Love and CB need to have clarification with a few specific details. A little confusing on picking up the keys and the garbage.

Cleanliness is a FAIL!

We expected the house to be old as what we saw in the photos but the cleanliness has failed our expectations. The carpet and floor are filthy. The wine glasses, utensils, plates and kitchen were not clean as expected. There was no salt and necessary kitchen condiments, there were not enough paper towel and no cleaning sprays. The garage is not working. The backyard has a lot of trash. I can go on and on. The cleaning fee charge did not do justice at all.

Christmas away from home.

We had a wonderful time at this house. The kitchen was well stocked and provided everything for our Christmas dinner away from home. We really enjoyed the pool table and the dogs loved the back yard. I would say that one of the only draw backs were the mattress's in the bunk room, they were like sleeping on paper. But I imagine that mostly small children sleep on them normally and my kids were grown young adults. Other than that we had a great stay!
