Welcome to your dream vacation at Lake Tahoe! Thank you for choosing my Lakeview Lodge, a stunning 6-bedroom lakefront retreat nestled among whispering pines and vibrant blooms. From the moment you arrive, every indoor and outdoor space invites you to unwind in comfort.

Step into a lush flower garden with window boxes overflowing with petunias, where a tranquil sitting area with fairy lights awaits at dusk. Inside, sunlight streams through picture windows, illuminating a cozy living room with thoughtful furnishings—perfect for quiet reflection or laughter-filled evenings by the fireplace with three reclining couches, each with cell phone ports.

The gourmet kitchen is a chefs delight, featuring numerous small appliances, two ovens, and a spacious island ideal for big breakfasts. Enjoy multiple ways to brew your coffee, including Keurig pods in various flavors, teas, hot chocolate, and sugar. Five bedrooms offer queen beds with ceiling fans for cool nights, while the renovated downstairs bathroom accommodates all with a stool and adjustable hand-held shower head. The upstairs master suite pampers with a king-size bed, 180-degree lake views, a private deck, work station with printer, and a luxurious shower with multiple heads plus a soaker tub with a fireplace at your feet and a lakeview.

OUTSIDE, relax in the hot tub with breathtaking lake views or stargaze at night. Two picnic tables with umbrellas set the stage for gourmet meals from the propane BBQ (included), while comfortable seating areas offer personal space or group gatherings. Enjoy outdoor games like corn hole, croquet, badminton, and ladder ball, or head to the beach with its volleyball court. Paddle the lake on provided kayaks or paddleboards with life jackets from the shed. Roast marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit and enjoy some s'mores, ingredients provided, under the stars.

At day’s end, retreat to your themed bedroom sanctuary and the gentle hush of the lake lull you to sleep, promising another magical day at Tahoe. I love welcoming families—highchairs, pack n’ play, stroller, beach toys, and a plastic pool are provided to ease your travels.

WINTER TIME is seamless with our own plow ensuring access to the slopes when they open. Sleds are available for play, and the garage stores skis—please remove boots in the entry to protect the Brazilian hardwood floors. Check the community board for prior travelers’ notes on local spots and restaurants, and let the kids add their pictures.

Bring your boat and use my buoy anchored in front. I’ve provided beach chairs, towels, coolers, umbrellas, and kids’ beach toys—leave the extra luggage behind! I look forward to welcoming you to my home. Safe travels from your host, Barrett.

This property was fantastic! We had a group of 10 for a long ski weekend. The house had plenty of space for everyone and had everything you need for a getaway. It was well stocked and very comfortable. The views of the lake were amazing and the location was ideal with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Tahoe. Thank you for a wonderful weekend and memories!

We LOVED our stay at Lakeview House. The kids loved the sledding hill - we were blessed with snow, loved the park next to the house and especially loved the game room. House was nice and warm, kitchen had most everything you need to make breakfast and dinner. Allloved the hot tub after a day of snow play or skiing. The best part - just enjoying the expansive view of Lake Tahoe! Lots of games for family and kids, variety of vacuums to pick up after the kids. We took the kids to Heavenly to ski or board, went to Tipsy Putt for an afternoon of mini golf, visited a couple of arcades, attended a great ice hockey game, adults went wine tasting and we all had a great time! Want to come back in the summer!!

I can’t recommend this home highly enough! The family friendly home has a warm, welcoming feeling and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The setting on the lake is great; the level back yard and nearby park were great play areas for my toddler granddaughter; the kitchen is well-equipped and stocked with everything one could need, and there’s a variety of games for all ages. Each theme-decorated bedroom is spacious and comfortable. The host accommodated our needs and was even so generous as to provide gifts from Santa for our 3 younger grandchildren. We would definitely return to this location. Thank you for the opportunity to rent your home.

South Shote Snow Activities

Fantastic place to day with stunning views of Lake Tahoe. Was a lovely touch having some simple provisions provided making our late arrival that bit more comfortable. House has discrete small labels/signs to make finding items and using facilities so easy. Host checked in with hire the stay had gone as well as clear and prompt correspondence prior to our arrival. House enhanced a fantastic trip to South Lake Travis - just wished we could have stayed longer.

SuperBowl Weekend

We found Barrett's home last year & knew it was the perfect home to return to for our annual Super Bowl weekend trip , we have been doing this trip for over 25 years. The home is clean, & large enough for a big group but cozy. The views of the lake are outstanding , the location can't be beat, walking distance to coffee, restaurants, bars, & walking paths along the lake. The casinos are a short drive, as is Heavenly ski resort. The kitchen is well equipped, there are board games & an ottoman full of blankets & a fireplace for chilly nights We had 1 issue & Barrett was there first thing in the morning to address it, she is friendly & acccomdating & cares about the guest experience, her assistant Jonathan lives nearby & is available if anything is needed. each bedroom is comfortable & clean. We appreciate the owners attention to detail & will be returning next year!

Christmas Vacation

The house is perfectly equipped for entertainment. There was a plethora of board games, cards, and even foosball and pool! We were never bored, every person was always occupied with an activity in the house. The location was more than ideal. We could walk to the beach, or take a short ride to the casinos, shopping and skiing. The backyard was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view of Lake Tahoe with mountains in the background. The highlight of the week was sitting in the hot tub with this breathtaking scenery. The rooms were comfortable, clean, had plenty of pillows and blankets! The primary bedroom had a wonderful bathroom, with a huge bathtub! The house was fully stocked with everything we needed for a great stay; coffee, laundry detergent, towels, and more. Everything was well labeled so we always knew what light switch we were using or what thermostat we were adjusting. Our family truly enjoyed our stay here!

I booked this as a family getaway to celebrate my dad's 92 birthday. The location is unbeatable and the views fantastic. It was wonderful to wake up to the beautiful lake views every morning. The house was very comfortable, and we felt like home but better. Our host was helpful and responsive. Would defintely stay here again. Thank you!!

Family Vacation

We have stayed here every summer for several years. We love the home and the view of the lake. There is a small park behind the home that is right on the water. Kayaks and paddle boards are provided. The owner, Barrett, is very easy to contact if needed. She is kind and has suggestions for our family. We will be back in 2025.

Wonderful Stay

Our stay was fantastic. The house is very nice and very comfortable. From a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great towels, spa towels, to a welcome coffee bar AND a s’more basket everything is there. The outside is spectacular with wonderful seating that overlooks the lake and lots of space to spread out on the lawn or in the hot tub. Reagan Beach is steps away and has nice walking area and even more space to play or swim. The hostess, Barrett, is a wonderful! We thank her for all she did to make our stay beyond fantastic.

Perfect Home

Our friend group absolutely loved our stay at Barrett’s home. The location was perfect! We made use of the kayaks and SUPs and enjoyed the hot tub. The home had everything we needed to be comfortable. We look forward to staying here again.

PERFECT FAMILY HOME

I rented this lovely home for two weeks. I stayed there with my elderly mom and my siblings the first week and my four children and their four little ones the second. The house was perfect for both. Tasteful, comfortable furnishings, a well stocked kitchen, tons of toys for the kids. The bedrooms are all nice, and the location can’t be beat. Barrett is such a warm, heloful host. We enjoyed hiking, pontoon boats, bearby beaches, and, for some of us, the proximity to casinos. I have been coming to Tahoe to vacation for almost 60 years - it’s a family tradition - and this home did not disappoint.

Great for everyone

This was an adult family ski trip with different personalities and needs. The house accommodated all very nicely and was thoughtful in its amenities. Beds comfy and all rooms comparable so nobody felt they got a less than worthy room than the others. The master suite is incredible. The view to die for. Communication was easy with owner/manager. Would rent again.

Perfect friend getaway for Super Bowl 2024

We have been visiting South Lake Tahoe for 25 years for Super bowl weekend , we've stayed in many homes & we've made so many wonderful memories with great friends. This year was no exception, we had a total of 10 people in our group, this home was perfect, upon a arrival we entered through the mud room off the front door, which perfect for storing our shoes, coats, gloves etc... The living room was perfect for our group to gather, visit & watch the big game comfortably, so often we find homes that sleep large groups but they don't comfortably accommodate everyone in the living areas. The kitchen had most everything we needed & the labeled cabinets & drawers were very helpful. All of the bedrooms were a great size & the beds were comfortable . The master bedroom was spectacular with the most amazing views, its own fireplace, large TV & sitting area , JUST WOW!! The location was great, a quick drive to the grocery store, Heavenly ski resort, the bowling alley & the casinos. The neighborhood was perfect for walking , we even walked to the yellow submarine for THE best sanchwiches! Coffee, wine bar & restaurants all very walkable. Walks along the lake were the best by far, the home over looks Regan Beach, with walkways & a park, the views of the lake & mountains were breathtaking. Jonathan the owners helper stopped by to check in with us, which we appreciated. We all loved this home, the comfort & coziness it provided, as well as the memories that were made were priceless !

Beautiful stay, prime location!

A group of old friends had a wonderful stay. Lots of spacious rooms/comfortable beds to make for a cozy stay for everyone. Responsive hosts to any problems we faced.
