The Landing Spot on West Lake Sylvia

Once you arrive at The Landing Spot, you'll know you are in the right spot. This modernly appointed lake home sits on the west side of West Lake Sylvia. It has roughly 85 feet of lake shore and is quietly nestled in the woods.

The home has an open floor plan with large rooms. You will be able to relax comfortably during your stay. The master bedroom has a king bed and flat screen TV. A queen bed and twin over twin bunk beds are in the second bedroom. The lower level has a twin over full bunk bed to accommodate 3 additional guests.

Talk to your friends and family while they relax at the counter as you prepare meals in the large kitchen appointed with stainless steel appliances. The dining room table seats 6 and 4 more can be seated at the island.

There is plenty of room to unwind in the living room while you watch the HDTV or stream music. The Landing Spot has internet access, WiFi and a land line for phone service.

At just shy of one acre, you'll have plenty of space to park and participate in outdoor activities. Relax in the hot tub after a day on the water or enjoying a round of golf at one of the nearby golf courses. Many outdoor activities are available for your guests to enjoy, such as bean bag toss, ladder ball and bocce ball.

Of course there is the lake to enjoy too. Lake Sylvia is one of the top lakes in Minnesota boasting 17 ft water clarity. Paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe are available for use on the lake. The owner also has a 2018 Bennington Pontoon for rent. The boat is rented through Boatsetter. Go to their website and search for boats near Annanadale, or West Lake Sylvia, and you'll see a pontoon by Scott. The public access is close by for ease of launching your boat.

For the safety and security of our guests, the front of the home is monitored by a Ring surveillance camera mounted to the motion sensitive light.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Landing Spot. This property is very clean, quiet and great to recharge at. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. We brought our boat with and it was very nice to have the boat landing right there. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and while kayaking saw a pair of loons and an eagle fly down and grab a fish right out of the lake!! So cool!! And enjoying a s’more by the fire was a great way to top off the day on the lake! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again!

We had 6 adults in our group. This house was very accommodating, we had plenty of room to all spread out. We enjoyed the canoe, kayaks, hot tub and games! We planned a few nights out for supper, but there was so much to do we never left the property. Scott was very fast at responding to any questions we had. The house is very clean and so well stocked you really only need to bring food and clothes. We all really enjoyed our stay at The Landing Spot!

Welcoming nice stay at this Beautiful Lake Home! Very neat & clean with well stocked,& thoughtful amenities provided! Enjoyed grilled meals & eating on the spacious deck!! Evenings around the nicely landscaped fire pit with wood provided was a plus❣️ With morning coffee on the dock, to watch and listen to the music of the loons, birds, & sand hill cranes❣️ Thank you for sharing your Lake Home with our family, adding to more great memories on Lake Sylvia ❣️

The landing spot was such a great place for our family to get away and unplug. The house was clean and as described/pictured. There were things for everyone to enjoy. We have a 7 year old and teenagers and everyone had a great time. Scott was very responsive and easy to work with. We loved our stay and would definitely book with them again.

This has been our nicest stay ever! Many other places the pictures look great but when you show up it's not so nice. This place is as good as it gets! What you see in the photos is what you get. Fabulous place well laid out and extremely clean and updated. Many things to do inside and out. Very dog friendly! Very nice Hot tub! Pretty private as well. Even have some wildlife visit the yard. Hosts we great and accommodating as well. One day of rain kept us stuck inside playing games and watching movies. But it was very cozy with the in floor heat! Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer!

What a wonderful location and home. My wife and I were looking to get away from the city with our two pups and found this great location on VRBO. Of all the locations on the lake, this has a larger yard which the pups enjoyed so much. It also had an outdoor hot tub and heated tile floors. This was in addition to all of the beautiful updates, modern kitchen, updated, bathroom, and more. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to coming back soon.

Very nice updated home. Super clean. We enjoyed using the canoe, kayaks and the lilly pad and there were life jackets to fit everyone. Our grandkids enjoyed swimming next to the dock. Very good communication with the host.
