Making plans for the holiday?BOOK JULY 4-11, 2025 NOW! Beach, Kid’s Park, Biking

SoHa's SOUTH BEACH PEACH is a gem, close to downtown, the marina, and beach. It has 3 bedrooms plus a basement area enclosed private bonus room with a sofa bed, and a family room with a pullout sofa bed, which provides sleeping space for 10 people, maximum. New in Fall 2022, Queen size bed mattresses supplemented with toppers and sofa bed mattresses upgraded also (see photos).
Walk to Kid's Corner Park, the "Blue Stairs" of South Beach, all within a few blocks. Downtown is less than a mile away! There is a splash pad at South Beach now, too! This home is full of light and comfortable surroundings with a well appointed kitchen, a large deck for barbecues and a fenced yard. Lower level family room with a bar and comfortable seating, for times the weather doesn't cooperate. The Van Buren Trail Spur is located nearby for bikers or walkers to go downtown South Haven or on a longer trip to either the Kal-Haven trail or Van Buren State Park. Come enjoy beach days, sunsets and relaxation for your South Haven vacation!

Fall, Winter and Spring season is a 2 night minimum. If you need to cancel for any reason after reserving the property you must do so up to 7 days prior to your stay to receive a full refund. Cancellation within 7 days of your reserved stay, your payment will not be refunded. The full amount of the rent will be refunded as well as any fees and taxes, if the property can be re-rented within the 7 days. Rental agreement is subject to availability. Reservation can be made within the 7 day time period. If a reservation is made within the 7 days prior to the actual rental time period then payment will be forfeited if cancellation occurs. Rent payment will be refunded if vacation home is reserved and re-rented for the cancelled time period.

Summer Season is a 7 night minimum. Rental is Friday to Friday. If you need to cancel for any reason within 60 days of your reservation, your payment will not be refunded. The full amount of the rent will be refunded as well as any fees and taxes, if the property can be re-rented within the 60 days.
Rental agreement is subject to availability. Reservation can be made within the 60 day time period. If a reservation is made within the 60 days prior to the actual rental time period then payment will be forfeited if cancellation occurs. Rent payment will be refunded if vacation home is reserved and re-rented for the cancelled time period.

Amazing!!!

First things first.The house is absolutely wonderful. The house details listed were very accurate. It had enough space to accommodate four people very comfortably. The beds were comfortable- and with someone who has chronic back pain and sciatic nerve problems, the beds allowed for a restful night. The neighborhood is extremely quiet. Cora -our host, was absolutely amazing when it came to communication. Check-in /Check-out was great. We will definitely be back.

Great Location in South Haven

This house just needs a few enhancements to make it spectacular. The host was very accommodating and easy to contact, but there were a few amenities lacking. (like a hair dryer) It was a little off-putting to be informed that there would be a charge forusing and not washing the beach towels

Girls Fall Weekend Getaway!

Cora’s home accommodated our group of 7 ladies beautifully for a much needed weekend getaway! Sleeping accommodations were great! House was very clean and comfortable and we loved that the kitchen table was large enough for all of us to sit around to play games and cards. We also loved how you could walk to Lake Michigan, and downtown (even though we chose to drive-(we are all in our 60s and the knees aren’t as great as they used to be!). We had a wonderful time! The weather was amazing, the fall colors were brilliant, and the sunsets over Lake Michigan were spectacular! Cora was a wonderful and accommodating host! Would definitely return!

We had an enjoyable time at this property. There was plenty of space(5 adults, 3 littles), it was well-stocked and comfortable, and close enough to the playground and beach for memorable walks each day. Love it and will be back!

This is our 4th time staying at Cora’s house and we will definitely be back. We love this house for the location, the quiet street, the space and the beach amenities provided. South Haven is a wonderful town and we love being so close to the park, beach, trails and the town. Thanks again for an amazing vacation!

Beautiful home and great location

This home is absolutely beautiful! Very clean and well maintained. It had everything you’d need (except a blow dryer and bath soap). The decks (yes, 2 decks) were so nice to sit on in the evenings. There is a nicely finished basement. The lake is just a short walk from the house along with a very nice park for kids. I would definitely stay here again!!

Great family vacation home in South Haven

Beautiful, clean house, great location, well working appliances, good supply of towels, beach chairs, kitchen stuff. Cora is great and flexible host with fast response. Unique house with collection of more than 50 images of light houses inside of it - I would call it “Lighthouse” house.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay here with our family including grandparents and young kids. The location is great being super close to kids corner and south beach. The house was just as advertised. Great outdoor space and plenty of space inside. Great communication from owner when we needed something.

South Haven neighborhood

We enjoyed this house. It had a great deck for outdoor entertainment and the house was extremely clean and updated. I a bathroom on the bottom level. Is needed. Also, the bottom level was extremely cold temperature wise. There was no thermostat in the area to adjust the temperature down there. The house had everything we I needed as far as supplies. I would stay there again, but with less people.

Close to the beach

The house was very clean and close to Kids Corner playground/Lake Michigan. Cora was very responsive when I reached out. We found the mattresses to be too firm for our liking. Orherwise, we enjoyed our stay at this property.

Great location

Great place for a family- walking distance to playground and beach which was so nice to go back and forth. Nice to have an outside porch, grill, and fenced in yard. Master bed and pillows weren’t very comfortable and not very stocked (laundry soap, soap for shower). Overall, we’d recommend it for a family and we had a great time.

Loved it trip to South Haven!!!

This was our 4th time staying at Cora’s home and I’m sure we’ll be back again. The location to the beach, City and bike trails is perfect! Plenty of room for our family and everything was exactly as expected with the home. We love that beach towels, toys, chairs and they carry at all provided at the house. Makes it so much easier to get everything to and from the beach without having to drive it over. The house is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to town. We love to bring our bikes and ride to town since there are plenty of place to park bikes. Thank you for opening your home to us. We will definitely be back!

Girls Weekend Getaway

We stayed here for our annual girls trip and had a blast! The house was spacious and large enough for 7 women to relax and get away for the weekend. Cora was very communicative and very lovely. Check in/out was a breeze. Would definitely book this property again!

We enjoyed our stay. It was conveniently located to the beach and to town.

Renting this property was easy. Everything was ready for us. It was easy access into the home with clear instructions for when we left. I would highly rate this house as a positive experience.
