  • If you are looking for a quiet, clean, relaxing location for your visit to South Haven you have found it in Ann's Carriage House. This one bedroom, one bath apartment is located on South Haven's south side in a quiet neighborhood off a private drive.
    You will enjoy your morning coffee on your private balcony overlooking Lake Michigan, lounge on the lower deck during the day. If you're ambitions walk the 75 steps down to our small, private beach to dip your toes in the water.
    Take a walk to visit downtown(1.5 mi) or public beaches(0.5 mi) and return to your quiet home for amazing sunsets in the evening. Bike trails are 2 blocks away which will take you to town, as well as Van Buren State Park, the countryside, a golf disc course, and bountiful fruit fields.
    This property is available for 2 people only and there is parking for just 1 car. We ask that you meet friends at public places to maintain the privacy and comfort of this location, while keeping a neighborhood atmosphere for us and our neighbors.
    Visit our bustling tourist town and then retreat to Ann's Carriage House to enjoy Mother Nature at her best.

Perfect Quiet Retreat

Our stay at Ann’s Carriage House couldn’t have been better. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful views were breathtaking. The accommodations were extremely well taken care of and it was the perfect spot for a weekend away.

The location is perfect with a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The view is magnificent, with two chairs overlooking the Lake. It was a perfect place for two people to explore South Haven.

South Haven get away

Very nice place, clean quiet and a great location right on beautiful Lake Michigan. Diane and her husband are very friendly and the communication was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again. Very nice couples retreat.

Very clean rental in an amazing location with access to a beautiful and peaceful beach. There are several steps to get to the water, but it is well worth it when you get to the bottom. Quiet and relaxing place to stay. Hosts were pleasant and easy to communicate with.

Exactly What We Needed

Wonderful stay at Ann's Carriage House. We had everything we needed. The place was cozy and clean with beautiful views of Lake Michigan. Location was close to town and to the beaches. South Haven was heavenly

We had a terrific time in South Haven. The downtown and surrounding areas provided a lot to do. The most impressive and enjoyable part of our visit was the property. The apartment was really nice and the views of the lake were breathtaking. It was quite relaxing to be able to be so close to the lake and enjoy the relative quiet. The property owners are wonderful people too.

Amazing experience in a beautiful town. Dianne and her husband were very welcoming and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for our whole stay. The property was perfect with an amazing view of the lake. This was exactly what my wife and I needed. We will be back next year!

A South Haven Treasure

Ann’s Cottage is a real gem. The cozy property is maintained meticulously and offers amenities many VRBO hosts don’t include. Sit back, relax and allow the lake breeze and sound of the waves calm your soul. The host is accommodating and friendly.

Spectacular with amazing views

We described it as a little slice of heaven. It was everything we could have asked for. The owners were great and we had everything we needed. Our favorite part was the little path that walked down by the lake and we set in those chairs about 75% of the time. Sunsets were just amazing. We will definitely be coming back !

Perfect!

The carriage house was perfect for my husband and me. It is very private with a nice deck where we could sit outside and have a view of the lake. Our favorite spot was the short walk to the bluff overlooking the lake. We enjoyed going down the steps and sitting on the landing and watching the waves coming in. We would stay here again if we come back to South Haven. The apartment was immaculate and well-appointed for two people.

Labor Day getaway

We have stayed at Diane’s property before and have had great experiences. This past weekend was not any different. Such a great little find. Everything you need and nothing that you don’t. Southaven is a great town and an easy trip for us. We will be back.

Peaceful Getaway

Our favorite feature of the property was the spot on the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. It is just a 50 foot walk along a path to the best sunsets! The carriage house was cozy and comfortable with everything we needed. We walked into downtown and biked the city streets and trails. We'll definitely go back!

Quiet, clean and lovely sunsets

My favorite part about Annie’s Carriage house is the proximity to Lake Michigan. From the carriage house windows, you have a partial view of the lake through the trees. If you walk to the end of the property, there are two Adirondack style chairs overlooking the water. It’s the perfect place to watch the sun set. There are stairs that lead down the bluff to a small private beach area. It was just a perfect stay! We look forward to visiting again.

Ann’s carriage house

Had a wonderful stay at this upstairs garage apartment. Ten minutes walk to the beach and a short ride to the trail that run through South Haven. This rental was perfect for a couple. Bed was comfy and the deck was a nice place to relax. This property had beach access and was great for watching the sunset. Bathroom was updated and great. Kitchen is small and simple but good for a simple meal. I cannot imagine a better place to relax and unwind in this quiet place. We loved it!

Short Getaway Vacation

Renting experience was very good and so were the communications. The accommodation was very quaint and comfortable with only two small exceptions; the shower, which was tight but got the job done anyway and the view to Lake Michigan was a bit more overgrown than what the current photo shows. However you can walk to the edge of the property and get a good view. All in all a very nice rental.

Anne's Carriage House

The property owner, Dianne, was very nice and helpful. The apt. was quaint and I loved sitting out on the deck. Town was about a mile away, which made it close enough for a nice walk. One think that concerned me......there was no door lock with a code, just a regular door lock. But I think other security measures were used. Would definitely stay here again!
