"This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. "

"This was a great space and perfect for our needs. The yurt was comfortable and the fire pit was great. Really awesome to have a nice table and grill and the hammock was comfortable. Good lights and drinkable water were plentiful. Will be back!"

"We had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with this property. They call it a "Family Fun Lakehouse," but I would strongly disagree with that label.First, do NOT agree to any arrangements outside the Vrbo platform. If they call or message you directly, I highly recommend asking them to communicate through Vrbo only. We made the mistake of answering their call and ended up in a very uncomfortable situation after refusing to stay at the property.Second, this place is not a private...

"Many reviews substantiate that Bedford Lake House is a 5 star property. Check-in, Facilities, Wi-fi, all first class. For our three-generation family of 7 including two young girls of 5 and 7 what made our stay so special. First, the view from the cottage over Devil Lake, the sunsets were amazing. Second, the flower and vegetable garden - where are young girls filled their buckets every day with ripe tomatoes, cabbage, carrots, peppers, beans, herbs, strawberries, beets .. the list goes on....

"All aspects of the cottage were great and we had an amazing time!"

"The dock and water was spectacular and exactly what we wanted. The cottage had everything we needed and worked for 5 adults. The loft has quite low ceilings and the bathroom in the loft has no privacy but otherwise the property was fantastic. The BBQ, AC and wifi worked well. Scott was easy to communicate with. A lovely cottage and area."

"The views of the lake are amazing. The host is great and thoughtful. The cabin itself doesn't have insulation and is built in a way that makes it hard to keep bugs & ants out of the living space."

"Very nice. Large new deck, with great view of the lake. Everything was as good or better than expected."

"Owner is very friendly and spent time to make sure everything was ok. The property lacks essentials. Make sure you bring coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, soap and shampoo for shower etc. One hand towel in bathroom, and one toilet paper, no towels for showers and none for drying dishes etc. All of this can be fixed with a trip into Sydenham Foodland or some prior planning. The view over the lake from the deck is very nice. We had a great time. "

"Loved our stay! I loved this location as well! Perfectly between Toronto and Montreal! And also close to thousand islands! Loved it! Was very clean and well organized! We chose to also get the food offered for amazing prices! Honestly think this was worth more than what we paid! Thank you for the perfect experience! Definitely hope to get the chance to come back! "
