The Home
The primary bedroom boasts spectacular views of the water. Slip into the queen-sized bed to unwind after a fulfilling day as the rhythmic waves of the lake and loon calls lull you to sleep.

Bedroom 2 has a twin-sized trundle bed for two guests.

Bedroom 3 is a queen-sized sofa bed in the sun room which can be closed off for privacy and has fabulous views directly overlooking the lake.

4 comfortable twin-sized air mattresses also available upon request.

Bring your boat to cruise around the lake and canals or catch fresh fish for dinner. You will have a private boat launch and dock available for your use. Opinicon Lake offers clean water that's great for swimming and water lounging.

Your own private outdoor waterfront social zone is equipped with power outlets and has a BBQ, picnic tables, private hot tub overlooking the lake, and a firepit with surrounding Adirondack chairs that are perfect for star gazing.

This is a peaceful retreat. Quiet time is 10:00pm- 8:00am and no parties or events are allowed. No exceptions.

Perfect weekend reunion

Myself and 3 of my girlfriends from high school got together for a weekend. Everything at the cottage was wonderful, a friendly check in with a beautiful treat basket, the kitchen had all needed cooking supplies. Towels, bedding and spare blankets were clean and comfy. The hottub, firepit and kayaks provided lots of fun. We will book again, this was more than a 5 star cottage experience :)

Beautiful spot for a getaway

We stayed at Gecieve Opinicon for a weekend in late April, the weather didn’t cooperate but the little cottage and property were perfectly set up for comfort, rain or shine. We had a fantastic time. Everything that you could possibly need was provided by the amazing host. We can’t wait to book again! Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Week Away

My wife and I spent a wonderful week in September at the Gecieve Opinicon. The cottage is clean and well-appointed with all you need for your stay. There is an incredible view of the water from the property including the sun room and bedroom. We spent many hours on the clear water in the kayaks with plenty of wildlife to see. The stars were beautiful! There is a perfect outdoor area to relax with café lights, a picnic table and a jacuzzi. Our hosts, Alison and David, were very kind and quickly helped with any issues we had.
