"Very secluded and private. Cabin was very nice, comfortable for 2 people.Walk to dock through woods isnt too bad. Weather was sunny our whole trip so did not have any issues with power, generator did kick in every morning for a little bit. Make sure you bring flaslights or some other outdoor lighting, especially if you have dogs because it is very dark at night with only the light from the porch available. Luckily we were prepared. The wifi wasnt working and didnt find it until the last day but...

"My sisters and I came to run the Three Sisters Marathon races. The home was located close to the start and actually a lot of what we needed (Food Lion). The property was very clean, well laide out, and comfortable. The check-out requirements were the barest minimum which we sincerely appreciated. I would stay here again if I were traveling in Danville."

"We all had a good week and a good time at the Cottage. Your house is well suited for our stay, and we appreciate all the amenities you provided. The interior was clean, the kitchen well equipped (except we could have used one or two small pots), the bathrooms tidy, the bedding comfortable and the sitting areas relaxing. "We all enjoyed the comfortable feel of the Log Cabin. The place met all our basic needs; but we do have a few suggestions that we hope the owner will heed for future guests. We would certainly recommend this home to anyone looking for a home-like atmosphere."

"Super clean place, quiet neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. The access to the covered dock was great for our boat. The landscaping on the property is beautiful, the water fountain feature in front of the cabin is a nice place to sit and relax once the sun goes down. Will definitely be back in the future! "

"This is our thrid stay at this property and we are already booked to come back in 2026. It is a perfect place on a perfect & quiet location on Mayo Lake. Corey is an awesome and responsive host. My husband and I look forward to staying at Corey's home every year. We had an entire week of perfect weather which made it even better. We spent the week either on the lake in our tandem kayak, on the dock or having our meals on the deck. The view of the lake in the morning was the perfect way to sip...

"First time staying in this type of place, normally we aim to stay in stand alone houses. It was actually really great. Location was perfect for the Carrington Pavilion Harvest Jubilee (Cooper Alan & Thomas Mac concer). Plus a fenced in dog park right around the corner. All of the permanent residents we encountered were friendly."

"This was perfect for us. The house was immaculate. Very clean. The furniture was beautiful and very comfortable. The decorative touches were tasteful and much appreciated. The TV worked great. A/C-excellent. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well provisioned. It was evident all around that the host really made an effort to make the guests comfortable. Wonderful quiet little neighborhood, with perfectly maintained homes. Convenient to everywhere we needed to go. We will return. "

"Very nice property quiet and beautiful area. House was clean and had many amenities. Would recommend and drive to VIR was fun from there also"

"House was great! Right on the water with a nice hot tub, fire pit, and grill! Easy and timely communication with host. House was clean, kitchen had everything we needed, and beds were comfortable. Would rent again for a nice long weekend!"

"Overall we had a good time during our week here. The weather was cool for August and we had some rain but we still spent a lot of time on the water. This is a very quiet part of the lake on a side creek. The dock was good for swimming and we had no issues mooring a 25 foot tritoon there. The interior of the house was more dated than we expected but things still worked and it was clean. There is a very nice new big screen TV. The outside of the home did not look as if it had been cleaned...
