"A quaint get-away in the heart of horse country.Our host , Chris, had everything we could need and was flexible with our schedule and communicative. He provided great books explaining the history of the estate, and a very helpful list of nearby attractions. We were too busy with our itinerary to explore the grounds, so there will have to be a next time."

"My family stayed here for a wedding in newtown. What a lovely apartment! It was a rainy cooler june weekend so we didnt get to enjoy the outdoor space as much but parts of the patio/deck was covered which was great. The pingpong table and some porch areas needed a sweep but otherwise it was delightful, clean, cozy. We’d stay here again. "

"Beautiful historic property with recent updates. If you have mobility issues, might not be good as all bedrooms are upstairs and stairs could be challenging. Otherwise, this is an outstanding property and our stay was fantastic. "

"The place was beautiful! It had taken us a few minutes to find the parking location from plugging the address into the GPS but the location itself was very convenient. The host was quick to respond to a minor issue after the first night and the entire stay was lovely."

"We really loved this property. It was all advertised and more. It made travelling with our two mid-sized dogs easy. We had time to make a couple of breakfasts and a dinner in the wonderful kitchen. I resisted playing a rousing round of chopsticks on the beautiful piano. Great set-up! Three bedrooms with king sized beds. I could imagine returning here for future stays. The host was the best!
