Accommodation description:
This apartment is located in a holiday home in the Großes Walsertal biosphere reserve. The peaceful location offers mesmerising views, and on request (and for a fee) you can make use of a yoga and meditation room. The accommodation offers plenty of privacy and a glazed balcony area where you can enjoy home-cooked meals in summer alongside the well-equipped kitchen. Come in and experience the peace and quiet! The flat is not self-contained (corridor area)
In summer, the house is an ideal starting point for beautiful walks, and in winter the ski bus takes you to the nearby ski areas of Faschina and Damüls for free. You can also ski from the house to the Sonntag-Stein ski lift, which is just 200 metres away. The region is home to challenging mountain bike routes that lead you through dense forests and past impressive viewpoints. Enjoy the serene atmosphere of Sonntag. Whether you relax on the shores of a mountain lake or treat yourself to a wellness day at a nearby spa, here you will find tranquillity you are looking for

Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine

Tolle Location und sehr nette Gastgeber

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und die Gastgeber waren sehr aufmerksam und nett. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Es hat wirklich alles gepasst!

One of the rooms pictured with the pillows on the floor is only accessible at extra cost but shown on this website which is misleading. We booked for 8 but only 4 of us were able to come, the other rooms meant for the other 4 were locked and not accessible to us even though we paid for 8. The bathroom and one of the bedrooms was really cold, especially the first 2 nights. It is a shared house with other people staying which we did not think was much of an issue. However, as the house is older, we could hear when the person upstairs came into the room and woke up. Every day, the person upstairs woke up at 6am and we were woken up by the creaking of the floorboards which meant a shorter night. In the evenings, we went to bed early as we were skiing and were also woken up by the floorboards upstairs. The kitchen is downstairs and the warmest room in the house we had access to. The owner is nice and easy to reach via phone or email. The house is close to the ski bus (just walk downhill). We left our ski boots and skis at the ski depot as there really isn't a room to put our boots and skis and the boots were likely going to be really cold the next day. Also, we did not want to carry the equipment up the hill as we were using the ski bus to go to Damüls. The location is lovely, quiet and great surroundings.

Walserthal is very nice

In May, the Walserthal was very nice but we just forgot that the farmer will cut and return the grass around the house, bad for our family having pollen allergy, and the altitude was bad for <1y baby ears. We appreciated the Biosphär cheese shop just 50m from house, the church, the view.

Stilechtes Haus in wunderbarer Lage

Sehr freundliche Begrüßung. Auch Flexibilität als es um einen Sonderwunsch bei der Anreise ging. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, reichlich Handtücher und Küchenutensilien. Große Menschen (190cm+) müssen sich in den Schlafzimmern etwas bücken. Überdachter Außensitzplatz. Wunderbarer Blick ins ganze große Walsertal.
