"The house is as stylish and capacious as the booking information suggests! We made full use of the cool indoor spaces and the pool during our stay at the height of a heatwave. Macqueville and the nearby villages are very quiet and we experienced the slightly unreliable hours of the village shop and restaurant. Booking there is essential. "This house is exceptional. The outside area is particularly lovely, the pool a dream. We had everything we needed, spending evenings cooking in the kitchen room which overlooks the garden and pool area was relaxing and eating outdoors equally pleasant. Communication with the host was probably the best we have experienced after many stays across Europe, she was more than helpful. "Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette location. La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée. La piscine est propre. Elle n’est pas chauffée mais baignable sans problème en été. Les environs sont calmes et reposants. Tout le monde s’y retrouve : baignades kayaks vélo repos visites !"

"Such a great house! Will definitely return when the pool is open! As described, very spacious, lots of outside space including pizza oven and bbq. Lots of covered outdoor space for all weathers. "Lovely overall 10-day stay with our 2 families in this beautifully decorated and well appointed house; plenty of room, comfy beds, fantastic water pressure, amazing social family kitchen with range cooker, fridge freezer and drinks fridge.
