"The home is beautiful, with expert attention to detail. The bed linens seemed chosen specifically for each room. The views were especially delightful, day and night. We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. Spacious, comfortable, and near fun things to do, such as kayaking on the Fox River."

"The property has some safety issues that need to be addressed. Master bed was comfortable. Didn’t sit outside as there were too many bugs. The host was communicative prior to arrival. "

"Outstanding house, especially if you like shore fishing! Worms and corn can get you some big fish. Biggest one we got was 8.5 pounds this time!The house itself is awesome inside and outside! Would 100% recommend. I have been to this house several times already, and will be coming back again for sure!"

"Difficulty in accessing the site with house rules, che in, and checkout instructions. Kitchen was adequately stocked, nice decor and clean. Accurate description of by the tracks- train does blow the whistle late night and early morning but oddly got used to it. Location was close to wedding venue, so that was helpful"

"We should have listened to the other reviews on this place, but unfortunately there wasn't much in the area to choose from. From the moment we walked in it smelled terrible, almost like a skunk smell. Obviously it's right on the Fox River so there's going to be bugs but a lot of the windows especially upstairs are not sealed right and in one of the bedrooms there were a ton of mosquitoes and other bugs all over the ceiling. Thankfully we found some ant spray in a random cabinet and were able to...

"We enjoyed staying here and watching the fireworks on the river. The property was clean and the neighbors were very friendly. My husband and son enjoyed the fishing, just use plenty of bug spray because it’s not just the fish biting around there! "

"We had a family with three generations and it was perfect. Plenty of space to spread out and lots of space to eat in a well equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was great for everyone to gather and for the little ones to run around and play. I would certainly rent this again if I am ever back with my whole family.
