This beautiful mountain chalet, which sleeps between 7-10 and has 2.5 baths, is located in picturesque Somerset County, just 1.8 mi from Hidden Valley Resort, 10.7 mi from Seven Springs Resort, 2.6 mi from Glades Pike Winery, and just a short walk to Kooser State Park. After a short drive, you can also find yourself at Ohio Pyle State Park or Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water. In addition to being situated just minutes away from resorts, state parks, and local country shops, wineries and bakeries, this home away from home also includes amenities such as air conditioning, billiards, air hockey, games, an outdoor grill, patio, fire pit, and more!

Property and owners were fantastic! Hosted a few of our 12 yr olds friends for a birthday weekend. They loved the upstairs setup with all of the beds, and the gameroom kept them entertained while we were snowed in. Hosts kept the road and driveway cleared during all the snow.

An unforgettable Christmas stay. Kim was incredibly kind and communicative before we arrived, and the home was beautifully decorated for Christmas, complete with a tree for Santa. After a recent storm and freeze, the driveway was cleared and salted, which we truly appreciated. She even surprised us with stockings for the kids and a bottle of wine, such a thoughtful and unexpected touch. The home itself was spacious, cozy, and perfect for family time, from watching Christmas movies to enjoying the hot tub and game room. It made our first Christmas home in four years truly unforgettable.

Peaceful Forested PA Mountain Stay

We had an overall great stay and would definitely recommend this place, but there were a few inconveniences that kept it from being a full 5 stars.Pros:-The host was super communicative, friendly, and quick to respond-Great location with a natural, peaceful feel. We did day trips to Pittsburgh and Ohiopyle State Park-Nice back patio space, we ate outside for every meal-Spacious layout with a good communal sleeping area-The basement was an awesome hangout spot with pool and air hockey tables-Dishwasher was a lifesaver! Cons:-The basement had a strong moldy/mildewy smell. A dehumidifier was running, but it was full when we arrived and filled up again the next day. If you have allergies (like I do) it would be rough-The water went out for about an hour during our stay-Only one functional pool cue (full-sized with a tip) and no chalk-Towels were limited — just enough for our group with no extras. We did laundry, so it worked out, but more would have been nice -Minimal cleaning supplies; we like to clean as we go but only found a Lysol air spray. We ended up buying a sponge since there was just an old scrub brush for dishes-One baking sheet was dirty on arrival with a sticky reddish residue-Microwave seemed faulty — it kept spinning and running when the door was open-No bath soap provided (just FYI)Overall, lovely spot with lots going for it. Just a few small improvements could make it a 5-star stay!

Perfect Sweet 16 getaway!!

It was perfect for my husband and I and a group of my daughter's friends to stay for the weekend for her sweet 16 birthday! We also had additional family members come up Saturday for a nice cook out and walk on the trails to the state park. Hot tub and fire pit nice. Only suggestion is more outdoor lights to see going to the fire pit. Otherwise fabulous place and weekend and the host was amazing! Even provided wine for us and a candy gift basket for my daughter with birthday balloons. Highly recommend this place.

Boy did it Ever SNOW!!

Wonderful house, 2nd time staying here. Very close to the ski slopes and wonderful PA countryside. Enjoyed all the amenities that this home has to offer. As the title says, it snowed everyday we were there. The neighborhood plow service was WONDERFUL! Thank you.We enjoyed pool table, hot tub, and fireplace upstairs.Thanks!

Birthday Weekend

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for a winter birthday celebration! The house had more than enough space to accommodate our large group of 10 people. It provided the perfect cozy vibes for a snowy weekend. It was the perfect location for the skiers and snowboarders of the group, as well as for the people that opted to journey into town instead.The snow was perfect for winter sports, but just be careful when driving!

Very nice home with everything you need. The host Kimberly is so kind and thought of everything. She made sure all the extras were there and available. It was so clean that I did not need to do my "pre cleaning" routine usually needed at rentals. We were very happy & had a wonderful trip!
