"Our family and a few friends got together to come up to Bemedji at this wonderful lake home. Everything about this lake home was wonderful; the furnishings throughout the home were comfortable and well thought out. The beds are out of this world comfortable. The pictures you see online don’t do this place justice, the tall beautiful ceilings throughout the first floor create an extremely spacious feel. "We were lucky to find Big Timbers for our Itasca State Park weekend. The location is ideal being right across the street from the North entrance. The rooms perfect size for a small family or couple. Everything was new and clean and we had everything we needed for a great stay. We loved the ice cream and pizza from the store on site. "

"The cabin is warm, inviting and cozy with all the modern conveniences. Even my kids will drink the water from either the tap or the fridge. Private setting, a few ATVs drove by, neighboring homes not visible or loud. Only mental note I’ve made is that the road immediately leading to the cabin is soft, much better suited to a truck/SUV than a sedan. We will drive a different vehicle next time."

"This was a great place to stay on our fishing adventure. The place has a big bay to pull my boat in after fishing. Comfortable stay with a remote view. "

"We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. We attended a family reunion in a nearby park so we were busy most of the weekend and weren’t able to take advantage of the big backyard and kayaks. Grandchildren enjoyed pool table. Lots of sleeping options. We enjoyed the screened in porch. Hosts responded quickly to my questions before we arrived. Highly recommend! "

"Booked the property only a week before our visit. Super convenient access to the north entrance of Itasca State park.Some items of note: the bathroom door latch did not latch. The pillows kept falling down in the space under the headboard. The water pressure in the shower was only so-so at best. The temperature was very good. Lots of space in the unit - girlfriend suggested a small chest of drawers to unpack stuff into. We did have great interaction with Christine (owner) at the next door ice...
