"room was exactly as pictured. Room was quite cold until a couple hours in until the small space heater started to make a change. Hard to navigate where the unit is in the winter since it is dark by 5pm. Needs a more descriptive check in instructions for the sake of checking in when it is night time. Friendly farm cats that greeted me upon arrival. peaceful in the daytime."

"The backyard is full of stickers, not very fun to play in. The house photographed well, but was definitely not as appealing in person (shout out to the photographer). The bathroom needs a new shower curtain liner and the cleaning was bare minimum. Absolutely livable, not gross, but also not what I would expect to be a thorough cleaning before we arrived. "

"Great place with a wonderful location. The house was clean and organized well and the outdoor space was so nice. The location made it easy to get to the beach and the Monterrey Bay Area. The neighborhood was very walkable and we were able to walk to places to eat. An absolute favorite was Acme coffee every morning. Highly recommend this space. "

"The views were definitely as described -- gorgeous, beautiful sunsets. However, be warned that the road and driveway up to these stunning views is quite windy and steep. Upon arrival, we changed our plans for going out at night and cooked all of the nights. That slight alteration did not affect our stay--actually enhanced our use of the property. Definitely enjoyed the Carmel Valley area and will be returning again soon. Thanks for sharing your space with our family!"
