  • Esta casa es súper linda, 2 dormitorios: arriba, uno con cama queen, sofá y mesa de café para relajarse. El otro tiene 4 literas; una cama doble, un armario, un escritorio y un armario. En la planta baja: bonita cocina, comedor y sala de estar (con un agradable sofá cama doble), baño espacioso.(¡la remodelación en una lavandería ahora está terminada!) ¡También un piano, así que trae tu música! Hay una terraza afuera, pequeño congelador para el pescado! ¡El bosque es bonito aquí, tranquilo, un lugar encantador! ¡Es muy tranquilo, puedes leer, dormir, RELÁJATE! Asegúrate y hazme preguntas.

It was exactly what we needed for our Kenai Peninsula adventure. Tucked away from the busyness in town and only minutes from Kenai and Soldotna.

Odie, her husband, and some of their animals welcomed us. They were very gracious hosts.Pros: We enjoyed the outside areas very much and had a fire in the fire pit two of our three nights. We loved that it was quiet and peaceful, something we look for in a place to spend our free time. Bathrooms were adequately clean. Cons: The kitchen was in serious need of a deep cleaning and we felt that we needed to re-wash everything we used. There were two recliners in the living room that were broken and dangerous to get in and out of. The bigger beds were on the softer side and probably not for everyone. There was need for new linens and many old ones that needed to be discarded as they created a smell in the bedrooms. As much as we liked the location and outdoor areas, we would not stay here again.

Excellent family-friendly stay!

This place was very homey and comfortable! The property manager was very friendly, laid back and accommodating. There was plenty of room for our large family to sleep. We enjoyed the games, the books, the movies and the toys that were available in the house. The hot tub was wonderful!! We will definitely be staying again if we come to town.

Best place ever!!!

We stayed 3 night. It was every thing we wanted and more. The host is the nicest lady! She was so fun to be around. The property was beautiful. It had a place freezer for your fish, a hot tub beautiful yard fire pit. It was a perfect family vacation. Thank you so much. We will definitely come again.

Excellent location, close to fishing, grocery store, etc. Our second year here. Would do again. Rick and Odie are awesome.

comfortable house with nice hot tub, some fishing accessories and spinet piano (needs tuning) and plenty of rice to go with our salmon. Odie is great!

Perfect for Alaskan fishing get away!

Perfect house for four fishing buddies. Ode was very accommodating and let us utilize some fishing equipment and a vacuum sealer for our fish. The house is very well stocked and when we had a question, Ode and Rick were very prompt. Enjoyed seeing moose walk through the property. Nice stay!

Genuine Alaska kindness

Odette and Rick are incredibly generous. They have everything to make your stay uncomplicated. They let us borrow items in the shed. We had left fishing poles 6 years ago and they were still here to use by whoever. We were fortunate when we found this listing. Its habitated by moose and that is fun to see out the windows when you are eating breakfast.

Wonderful hosts!

Odette “Odie” was a wonderful host and greeted us when we arrived. It’s a remote area to get away after a day out exploring. Also lots of deep freezers to store your fish. Great property for a large group. -Almost every property uses well water so be aware that there may be iron in it that turns the shower, tubs, etc orange. -Mosquitoes are everywhere in Alaska, so be prepared. Odette did a great job showing us how to keep them at bay or use a zapper. We, unfortunately, had allergies to cats/dogs and couldn’t stay the entire time so can’t give a full review.

Odie and Rick are wonderful and want to please you

The house could be a little cleaner. But we overlooked it.This is an older home so consider it to be like an old cabin. NOTHING fancy.The TV didn’t have channels so bring your own movies. Odie and Rick are wonderful people. When they found the TV had a crack in the screen Rick ran out immediately and bought a new one. But still didn’t have reg viewing. The internet is VERY slow so take that into consideration. Mom and 2 baby moose came up to the deck. Mosquitos live up to their reputation!

Great location for privacy but still within 10 minutes to town and boat launches for fishing. Odie was an awesome host during our stay.
