"The hotel is in a super convenient location (close to Old Port). Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance (most being 25 minutes. The room was very spacious and updated. The only downsides are there is only valet parking for $40 a day ( I was sent a message from the hotel saying we could self-park for $30, but that wasn't an option). Secondly- you're charged $25 daily resort fee, which they say you can use as a food & beverage credit. The only on-site restaurant was only open 7 AM-10AM...

"As a woman traveling alone the one thing I didn’t like is that anyone could get on the elevator. There was no security. I felt more safe staying at the Courtyard Marriott because you had to have a room key to get on the elevator."

"Just know what you are getting into. Super quaint spot with very helpful staff in a very urban area. Our room had the AC unit pointed at the head of the bed and noise from the city made it difficult to have windows open. To get to rooms you are climbing steep narrow staircase up to three floors. Breakfast was nice. Proprietor was a gem."
