"Great communication from host. Clean, and comfortable."

"We stayed 3 nights in the Cowboy Cabin, it was absolutely fantastic! The perfect country getaway! The private lake was so much fun; Garrett has paddle boats, a kayak, and a little aluminum boat with a trolling motor for guests to use. The cabin has pretty much everything you'd need for your stay. There's a cute outside shower on the porch to rinse off from playing in the water and sand. Lots of wildlife on the property to see. We will definitely be returning!! "

"First time here and won't be our last. Very clean. Lots of history. Quiet area, nice shady walking. Owner is outstanding and full of great stories. We hope to make it an annual trip across the scenic Talimena drive."

"Beautiful, quaint cabin in the middle of nowhere. Step outside and you're at the stocked pond where you can fish, swim, kayak, or just enjoy nature. The cabin has everything you could need on your break from reality. Hosts are very communicative and kind. "

"Exactly ad desired. No close neighbors. Nice countey walk to river. Wildlife in the front yard. Could hang meat with the a/c. Good base for visiting general area. Easy in and out. Relaxing!"

"Had a very nice time at this cabin. Very clean and comfortable. Host was quick with communication when we had an issue. "

"great cabin get a way- ladder to loft little hard to climb for older couple- but perfect for kids :)great communication with owner- answered quickly, very helpful and very patient."

"We stayed in this cozy studio cabin over the weekend and absolutely loved it! It was peaceful and quiet, with breathtaking views all around. The covered porch was perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. We were on the go with friends during our stay, but we’re already looking forward to coming back and relaxing more — especially around the firepit while taking in those stunning views."

"If you are looking for an awesome place to get away from it all, this is the place. Everything you need without all the people and noise. Everything was as it should be with no surprises. The fishing on the river was quite enjoyable as well. The host, Jed, responded to all my messages in a very timely manner and answered all my questions. Could not ask for a more pleasant get away so close to Dallas. Definitely going back! "

"second time to stay, absolutely love, it could not believe how much the dogs had grown, never want to leave when we get there. "

"Overall great place and great location, there was a few spider webs in the bathroom and bedrooms but not much of a bother"

"Wonderful location to Sardis lake-right across the street and down a short walkable trail. Host was constantly available by phone, but we really had everything we could need for a nice, quiet weekend. Enjoyed Sardis and Clayton lake while there. We will be back!"

"Is very quiet place a property that belongs to one owner just what we need it surrounded by beautiful nature the the beautiful river with see-through water we enjoy the kayak with definitely going back I recommend this place for any family that would like to go away from the city and don't care for technology because the only signal you're going to get is inside the cabin and probably outside the porch but was perfect for us"
