"My sister and I have always wanted to visit Smith Island. This house was perfect! Well appointed, comfortable, great location and terrific host. The golf cart was such a huge bonus. We had amazing water tours, walked, relaxed, spotted more birds than we could count. Everyone on the island was beyond friendly. Just had a wonderful time which was amplified by the great accommodations! "

"Took my grandson for a weekend trip to Smith Island to celebrate his HS graduation. My daughter, also, accompanied us, since I am a 90 year old "Grammy", and need some assistance. Our cottage was clean, comfortable and had all of our needs. The host, Kim, was extremely attentive, and made our dinner the night we arrived so we could just relax. "Amazing adventure! Peaceful! Beautiful! Privacy! Gourmet Kitchen! The house is set back from the neighborhood on a large lot. The decks are new and comfortably furnished. We cooked breakfast and dinner for 3 days and the well-equipped kitchen was perfect. Our days started and ended with gourmet meals, on the deck, emersed in the salt marsh. "Property has lots of character and charm. We enjoyed the infinity pool, kayaking, crabbing from the dock and daily walks. The property is in a fairly remote location but we found that to be a plus. It was a great place to decompress and enjoy nature. The property owner was very responsive at booking and check-in. The only downsides to the property for us were that you had to walk through one bedroom to get the other bedroom and the WIFI was slow. Outside of that we really enjoyed our stay. "

"We had a fantastic stay at the Hideaway in Hays Beach. We were coming up to see our 93yr old Grandmother who lives about 45 minutes away. Our families rented two homes in the area and were able to enjoy our time with three generations that aren’t able to see each other often. The home was exactly as shown, perfectly decorated and incredibly well stocked! We’d absolutely come back!"

"The bay is directly in the backyard where you can see the sun set each evening from the house. There is a small beach that is sandy during low tide. If you want to wade in the bay, wear water shoes because there is glass that washes in from the bay. Mosquitoes are a problem, but it isn't just here. That's just the Eastern Shore in summer. "This home sits right on the water! It is beautiful! We watched ships roll by, ducks bobbing on the water, and flocks of geese flying and landing on the water. "Our stay in Reedville was very relaxing. Our guests ranged in age from 16 months to 84 years old. The littlest were delighted with the beach and the water was perfect for wading.
