"Room was clean and basic with good shower in the bathroom. Relatively small room with dated decor and could do with a refresh. functional and adequate if you just need a bed for the night. Adjoining pub is nice inside with outside terrace and local beer brewed onsight. Quick taxi or 15 minute walk from the centre of Ashby De La Zouch. Really nice engaging staff"

"We love the ambience and the location. This time, they made a mistake with our meal and gave us the whole meal without charge. We really appreciated this: it's how they handle it when things go wrong that really sets a place apart. "

"Liked the room being near to restaurant. Bed large and comfy, shower great. It was a great location for Richard III exhibition and Bosworth Field."

"Staff were excellent all very attentive and polite this is my 2nd stay which is for business purposes and will definitely be using again"

"Lovely stay, near to car park and my planned events for the weekend. Do wish there was Netflix on the TV. Linen fresh and clean. Bottom of curtains do need some attention. Breakfast fresh and plentiful, really enjoyed. Have gym facilities which i was able to make use of. Thank you "

"No issues. Car park is approx £12 for the night. Breakfast £11.95 They dont do draught beer or meals but otherwise its a good place to stop"

"Stayed here many times over the years as it's convenient for Donington racing circuit. It's not a 5 star hotel, but gives excellent value for money in comfortable surroundings. Hotel is 2 minutes walk from the pub making it a convenient stopover. Plenty of free parking as well. Will definitely be visiting again. About 9 miles from Donington."
