"What a lovely house! The 3 of us came in just to visit Punxsutawney and fell in love with Smicksburg! We enjoyed our stay here so much and would definitely return. The check in was simple and parking in the back worked out great. The kitchen is enormous, stocked with plenty of utensils/dishes, soap, plastic wrap, salt/pepper shakers. There aren't many restaurants in the area, so making full use out of the kitchen was very helpful. In addition, there was a cute little coffee/tea setup, full water...

" A sky twinkling with fireflies, peaceful trails through nature’s best, and the serene lake made every moment unforgettable. Cozy quarters and kind Amish neighbors added warmth to our stay. The owner reapected our privacy and was there for us if needed anything. I would highly recommend!"

"Absolutely amazing place to stay, a quiet little place on the hillside. The host was more than accommodating, helpful, and nice. He answered every question we had and helped immensely! We stayed for 3 days and loved every minute! Thank you!"

"What a comfortable and cozy place to stay! The location is perfect for a visit to Indiana --- close to downtown, IUP, shopping, and even a lovely park with hiking trails. Chris, our host, was terrific: great communication and the property was just as described. We enjoyed quiet walks in the neighborhood and the back deck is perfect for a morning or evening cup of coffee. The bed was comfy and the bath was well appointed. We had a wonderul stay. Highly recommend!"

"This was an overnight stay!! Wish we would’ve booked longer & will know next time.LOL It was such a beautiful place, very quiet. Loved the view we had from our back deck. All the amenities you would need from dishes, silverware, pots & pans, laundry facility w/laundry soap. Outdoor grill, Fire pit & the Hot tub was definitely a wonderful addition!! The property manager answered any questions we had promptly!! I would definitely recommend them!! "

"The host was very nice. We enjoyed our stay. Friendly dog, fireworks show, full size refrigerator, washer and dryer, nice place to take a walk, and the hosts gave us a loaf of homemade bread."

"We came here to visit family and escape the heat and humidity in Central Florida and boy did we. The property looks like a tiny house, but suprisingly has three sleeping areas and a combination kitchen setting area all made of natural wood, looked like hewn knotty pine. Quality workmanship, we wouldn't be surprised if the house was built by the PA Dutch or Amish. The deck (see attached picture) was our favorite spot to lounge on in the evening, Saw turkeys, deer, rabbits, and squirrels and...

"I stayed here for three months while working at a local hospital. This was my fifth travel contract and this was probably the best housing I've had so far. There was a dishwasher, washer, and dryer and even though I was there mostly in winter/early spring the deck was a great addition. Very clean and comfortable. Would wholeheartedly recommend!"

"Enjoyed our brief visit to Kittanning made better with this property! Chase was very responsive to our inquiries. The property was located above a store front on Jefferson. No problem with parking on street. The apartment was comfortable and Huge! We definitely will stay here again!"

"This is a very nicely renovated home, the listing is very accurate and so are the pictures. The curtains are thin so if light bothers you sleeping this may be an issue. A very common item not in the listing or provided is a coffee pot or cups. So if you are in the 66% that drink coffee bring you own,or plan to go buy it somewhere, which adds cost to your trip. Everything else is very nice great appliances, the kitchen is well equipped. "

"This house was beautiful! And it was very secluded and peaceful. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again!"

"We were looking for a place to stay for one night, and this worked out fine. The location was great for getting to IUP. Definitely a bare bones kind of place, no napkins or even paper towels. No shampoos or soaps, and half of the light bulbs did not work. The traffic noise was very loud with the air conditioning units still in the windows. But it was pretty clean and we only needed a place to sleep."

"My wife and I had a wonderful time. The place was beautiful. Had everything we needed. It was so nice to get away during the winter to a cozy nature like setting we really enjoyed the views the hot tub being able to cook together and get away from the hustle and bustle of work and day-to-day responsibilities. Peter was awesome and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and we will definitely return. "
