"We loved our stay at the Carriage House. Patrick and Kathryn were wonderful hosts. They provided information in a timely manner, and were quick to respond to any questions. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable and well appointed, and Patrick and Kathryn included truly thoughtful touches. The location was perfect for exploring Croton-on-Hudson and the Hudson Valley. We'd love to come back!"

"The property was almost exactly as described. The cabin has character and makes you feel at home with the decorations. We had our young grandkids (2 and 4) staying with us. There was plenty of room for them to play, and they loved the bunk beds! When they say the drive is rough, believe it. If you have a car with little ground clearance (Chevy Malibu), you really have to weave around to keep from scraping. Our kids had a mini van and an SUV and they had no problems. The hosts were very attentive...

"Super convenient for getting in and out of Manhattan. Easy parking. Comfortable beds. Well-stocked with anything you could need. Will definitely be back! Loved that you could walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and the train. "

"Awesome place, completely renovated, perfect location to town, super clean! I'd recommend and stay here again! Multiple levels with stairs. If you have trouble with stairs I'd look elsewhere also no full kitchen and small refrigerator. That being said this is a 5 star place without question. Same goes for the host, accommodating, super responsive! "

"We enjoyed our stay at this condo. There was plenty of space for us to hang out and sleep. We used the kitchen a lot and for the most part it was well equipped. We could have used more things like larger bowls to mix things or for chips. The downstairs bathroom shower could also use a curtain so that the water doesn’t get everywhere. The condo was easy to find and check in. The owner reached out to make sure we were good which was nice. Overall our family was happy with the unit "

"Check in issue with parking passes. Office did not have them as there was an issue with the owners and spent 30 minutes in the office. . Used temporary passes all weekend which was fine. Emailed with request for early check in and inquire about coffee - keurig or drip. Owner never responded. Coffee maker in the property but pot did not fit the maker- making it impossible to brew. Had to go to Walmart and buy one. These were really minor issues but still an inconvenience. The property overall is...

"The place was a great base for us when we visited family in NJ and NY. Super clean, very comfortable beds, and easy parking and check in. One bedroom and bathroom are in the basement, in case anyone in your party is mobility limited. The upstairs neighbors do make a little normal noise, sometimes later at night, so maybe bring earplugs if you are a very light sleeper. "

"I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO RATE THIS PLACE BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS FRAUDULENT!!! There is an entire family living in this home!! I was scammed out of my money & VRBO did not accommodate me for their mess up on a 900 mile trip. Site is not to be trusted and they gave no strrrm put in place for situations like this except to keep spending money."

"The proximity to Westpoint was great. Trashy neighborhood. Very loud construction early in the morning. The cooking supplies were limited and one of the handles on the pans fell off while we were there. It was okay, but probably wouldn't return."

"This home was just what our group of 16 needed to find rest, reconvene from the day’s activities, and prepare for all the next day’s activities. The town of Monroe was a great place to stay as it was centrally located for all the places we visited. "

"The neighborhood was quiet. The space of the basement apartment was clean, and spacious. Though the floors above were crickety, I slept fairly well. "

"Wonderful condo - clean, bright, roomy, fabulous porch. Property was great too - a regular size pool, sauna, small “warm” pool and a hot tub. Bar on site was a nice perk too. Owners very responsive, check in easy. A great stay. Only thing that annoyed me is final price was almost double the price that showed up when searching properties because of a 85 cleaning fee and other fees. Was worth the price but wish I knew the real price upfront rather than at check out. Other than that - a wonderful...

"We loved everything about this cozy cottage! It felt like home when we walked in. Place was very clean, quiet and beautiful. We stayed 3 nights, but wish we could've stayed longer. Nadia was very responsive to any questions we had prior to and during our arrival. We appreciate the extra touches and snacks...it was very warm and welcoming. I would love to come back...highly recommend!"
