"Very Comfortable with a well appointed Kitchen. Excellent view of Hood Canal and occasional glimpses of mountains through the fog and clouds. Would recommend visiting the Union Visitor Center for good information about the sites and activities in the area. We enjoyed a few hikes to waterfalls and dinner of Oysters and Dungenese crabs. "This is a wonderful cabin. The A frame structure is rustic and charming. There’s a comfy deck. Debra has shelves of board games and lots of info on local things to do. There is a washer and dryer! The upstairs loft with the king bed is where we slept because my husband is 6’6”. I loved it, although I bumped my head 3 times on the ceiling beams! But my husband was not that happy with how low the bed is and that we had to go downstairs to use the bathroom. The kitchen had the necessary dishes. But...

"Lovely little cabin with everything you need "

"My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,...

"We stayed at this cabin over Labor Day weekend with a group of friends, and it was the perfect getaway. The property has everything you’d want to enjoy both relaxation and adventure: hammocks, a hot tub, paddle boards, kayaks, and more. "We had a magical time at this beautiful cabin! We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful lake, had it nearly to ourselves the whole stay! We paddle boarded and kayaked and dozed in the sunshine on the dock.The one big detractor was the air beds had holes in them, and the host said the pullout couch was uncomfortable, so it was a little tricky to sleep 3 friends comfortably. "Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. There is a bit of noise from the highway up above the property, but really only in front of the house. The babbling creek was what was heard from the house and back area over the creek. "We stayed here while visiting Olympic National Park. Great location and beautiful view!!"

"My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your cabin. The view was out of this world, the peacefulness and quietness was so restful, we really enjoyed the hot tub times. When we took our walks, it was so fun seeing all the deer. Upon arriving at the cabin, we found it very clean. He spent a lot of our time out on the deck, enjoying the view and playing our games. We hope to book a stay there again."

"We loved staying here. The cabin layout is so nice and the large windows were very inspiring. The view of the trees was very nice. The patio was a great spot to spend the cool mornings stretching and drinking coffee. The walking proximity to the lake was very convenient and the swimming area at the lake was incredible. If you want a nice place to stay in proximity to Olympic National Park, this is a great choice."

"This cabin is perfect. Beautiful beach, well stocked cabin, comfortable beds. Rowboat, kayaks, board games and dvds. All you need for a wonderful vacation. "

"The property was lovely with beautiful views of the water. It was very private and perfect for a weekend getaway. The only hiccup was the WiFi. It was too weak to make it through a movie using either our computers or their own ROKU system. Loading was slow. They need to up their WiFi strength and put in extenders so that you can use the WiFi in the back bedroom. Otherwise are stay was perfect."
