Lloc Històric de Skalholt

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this hotel! It was clean, within walking distance to BSI and downtown Reykjavik. The beds were comfortable and sharing a bathroom was not an issue. We had a triple room and it was big enough for all three of us. Instructions were easy to follow and we had no trouble getting in late at night. The only thing that was slightly inconvenient was the speed of the wifi, but otherwise it was had a great visit. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

My husband stated this was the best hotel he’s ever stayed it! Views are spectacular, breakfast every morning was amazing, bed was very comfortable, shower was great, and the storage was plentiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only issue is it was hard to find the entrance on a Sunday evening since the hotel is just the top floor of an office building and the sign is very small. We called and the staff greeted us in the parking lot to help us. Great experience, would highly recommend!

Staff was very helpful, room was clean and having the kitchenette was great. Good location for walking around Reykjavik and picking up the group tours. No elevator in our building, just one flight of stairs but could be problem for anyone with disabilities. Some loud music one night on the weekend but ended by midnight.
