"Helga greeted us upon arrival. She was a wonderful and helpful person. This is a magical and incredibly peaceful place. The hot spring and the views were amazing! "This is a beautiful quaint two bedroom apartment attached to the emigration museum and there is only one unit. It's right on the river as it enters the harbour, with great views and a nice deck/ patio as well and only a very short walk to a great restaurant (only one in town). "

"As beautiful as the property was, the condition of the showers were poor and made this stay very hard. We emailed the property owners after the first day that one shower was not draining, and the other shower had a showerhead that was coming out of the wall. They communicated back that they were going to send somebody to fix it, but no one came. The last day of our stay, somebody who looked like a property manager, perhaps showed up at our property unannounced and looking around the property...

"We booked a few nights at the Hidden Cottage and simply loved the place! The cottage is located not far from a village, in a pretty countryside area. The house had everything you needed and the cottage was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. My 13 year old son particularly appreciated the soccer field we had access to!  I recommend this place during your stay in Iceland!"
