With its great location, Glaze Meadow 129, located on the Glaze Meadow golf course, is the ideal home for your family's next vacation or weekend getaway. This house has recently been updated with new floor coverings, appliances, and custom, subway-tiled showers. The main living area features a large, wood-burning stone fireplace that is the perfect place to gather on cold winter days or cool summer nights. The home also houses an electric fireplace, so feel free to get cozy around it with your favorite book and catch up on some reading. Prepare everything from quick breakfasts to full-course dinners in the well-equipped kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, including a beer/wine fridge. The upstairs loft has a TV with connected gaming systems and an extensive collection of movies and board games - the perfect place for the kids to hang out! Outside, this home boasts a spacious back deck with a gas grill and a grassy yard for playing cornhole. Provided bicycles for adults and children make venturing out effortless.

This home is a safe and quick walk from the Glaze Meadow Recreation Center with its pools, spa, gym, yoga studio, pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts. Black Butte also offers two championship golf courses and additional tennis courts, or borrow one of the provided bikes and tour BBR's miles of scenic paths. The charming town of Sisters is only 10 miles east of the ranch and offers a wide variety of shopping and dining options. And in winter, skiing and tubing is only 22 miles away at the Hoodoo Ski Area!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. We really enjoyed our stay. We love the location to the athletic center and pool. The only thing I think would make her stay better is that the master bedroom downstairs needs a new mattress. My husband and I ended up rotating nights sleep with the kids because the upstairs beds were much more pleasant on our backs

GM 129: Good location, the provided bikes and helmets definitely a plus. Fairly new carpets in the bedrooms and nice bathrooms. The bedrooms were fine, and good house layout. Good kitchen supplies, except for the old scratched non-stick Farberware fry pans which need to be replaced. The coffee maker did not work. No teaspoons, only tablespoons. F But after paying A LOT for five nights, no laundry or dishwasher detergent was supplied. I've rented at Black Butte for over 40 years and that's a first. And the check out instructions state starting a load of dishes and laundry - with what? The instructions for the TV are incorrect. They seem to be referring to another remote. Had to have tech people figure out a workaround for watching DVD's. The tile floors are scratched, stained, and always look dirty even when not. Lounge chairs are needed for the deck. We all decided we will not be returning to this house. The communication with Vacasa was good.

We had a lovely time with family and friends. The house was laid out well for 2 families and plenty of amenities. Close to Glaze Meadow and right on the golf course. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

While it’s taken me several months to write this review due to disbelief and frustration, I wanted to share why I would never recommend this place to rent to anyone, at least while managed by Vacasa. Important details such as bat poop everywhere, horrible smell downstairs, flat tired bikes, lack of /or broken screens on the windows, locked door to deck upstairs, unusable television, broken lock on the front door, and multiple lightbulbs burnt out upon our arrival - specifically the most important light over the stairwell. While walking down the dark stairs on the first night of our two week vacation, my mother couldn’t see the final step above the landing and fell breaking her wrist and ankle. BBR medics came out documenting the fall and her condition but Vacasa not only failed to recognize this incident after I called to report it, but their communications to alert us to updates on any of the aforementioned issues were next to none. I’ve been staying in the ranch every year since 1991 and this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. Yes, the bathrooms were newly remodeled and the location was great. But do yourself a favor and skip this place. Not with the money or experience renting through Vacasa.

This home is in an excellent location with close proximity to the Glaze Meadow pool & recreation center. The home was spotlessly clean inside; however the deck needs to be REPLACED - there are loose boards and exposed nails. The exterior of the home is cluttered with miscellaneous items (lawn mower, ladders, ice chests etc) and the outside furniture & door mats are shabby - time for new ones! There is also a rodent problem outside (none noted inside), as we had to sweep rodent dropping EVERY morning from under the exterior light fixtures and off the decking (not safe to be exposed to). This needs to be attended to! IF the exterior issues were addressed, we would be happy to stay here again.

The downstairs couch and rug smell so strong of fire smoke. The downstairs rug and floors need a serious deep clean. My two small kids legs hands feet were black from dirt/soot. Several planks of the deck are loose to the point I tripped. Might want to mention in the listing that the room with twin beds has a skylight so the "kids" room doesn't get dark till almost 10. The upstairs TV is missing a remote and was unable to turn on maunally. Other than that a nice home super close to rec center.

Great property on the golf course. Floor to ceiling windows in the living/dining room. This was a quick last minute getaway. Spent most of our time in Sisters and at the rodeo. I plan to reserve this home in the future when I have time to stay longer.

Pros: the bedrooms and beds and sheets and bathrooms were clean. Cons: The kitchen, fridge and grill. Were not maintained. We even had a fire in the grill because of all the build up beneath the cooking area. You can tell that someone went through and cleaned, but the place is not regularly cleaned and maintained, so they might have missed a few spots. Also, it seemed pretty dusty, but that made sense since they allow pets. Which was obvious since there was still dog hair all over the couch.

The exterior of this unit in need of attention (peeling decks, lots of clutter). Our only complaint with the interior was a poor job of cleaning and an inoperative tv. The tv was quickly repaired but we had to finish cleaning the unit ourselves. The location is excellent, facing a golf fairway. A great location for walking our dog.

We had six men golfers and were expecting 6 separate beds, however only five and one person slept on the sofa. Advertised 1 king, 1 queen, 4 singles, however only 3. Additionally, we were to get an email giving us the entry code on the morning we were to arrive. This did not happen; we did find a window open and were able to get in. However, evertime we left we had to leave the unit unlocked. Unhappy!

Loved our stay at this sweet home in BBR. Everything was clean, beds were comfy, kitchen was stocked for cooking, it was perfect for a long family weekend. Plenty of activities at the house, but also lots to do around the ranch. Wood-burning fireplace made everything extra cozy.

Lovely home with thick area rugs, family friendly for all ages, 4 generation capacity, grandma on the ground level, loft for TV and games (kid friendly) or privacy while being with earshot of others while working remotely, large fireplace on a cold day or quick gas grille outdoor cooking!
