This stunning house, known as Aspen Lodge, is located on the eighth hole of Big Meadow Golf Course. Nestled amid trees at the Black Butte Ranch, fantastic resort amenities include six pools, horse stables, hiking trails, and an on-site restaurant, pub, and lake-view bistro.

Whip up tasty meals in the chef’s kitchen, or fire up the gas grill and dine alfresco on the large deck. Then soak in the private hot tub surrounded by towering evergreens. With two luxe suites, a lodge-like ambience, and modern amenities, this welcoming home is the ideal retreat! This home has two bedrooms and bathrooms with walk-in showers on the main floor. There are no steps to the entrance.

Unwind in the spacious living area, where a leather sectional and two side chairs surround a wood-burning stove. A lofted living area has a sofa and smart TV.

The well-equipped kitchen features all the gadgets and dishes you’ll need and a full suite of stainless steel appliances.

Upstairs, the primary suite has a gas fireplace, smart TV, and en suite bathroom. The ground-floor suite has a gas fireplace, smart TV, and direct deck access. The en suite bathroom has a roll-in shower. The bunk room has direct deck access. The hallway bathroom has a roll-in shower.

Enjoy pre-dinner drinks on Adirondack chairs while enjoying the fairway view. Make use of the gas grill and host a cookout on the large deck. Take a relaxing soak in the covered hot tub, surrounded by mature pines. There's fun for the whole family in the entertainment space in the garage, with ping-pong, air hockey, foosball, darts and a large screen TV there is something for everyone.

On-site amenities include a year-round indoor pool and seasonal outdoor pools (open Memorial Day-Labor Day). Between two fitness centers, find a steam room, spa, hot tubs, basketball, pickleball courts, bocce ball courts, a volleyball court, playgrounds, a soccer field, and a kids’ activity center.

Complimentary WiFi, firewood, a Pack ‘n Play, and a washer/dryer are provided.

A dream for golf lovers, this home is located on the eighth hole of the award-winning Big Meadow Golf Course. Enjoy an abundance of year-round activities, including skiing at Hoodoo (14.5 miles), kayaking and fishing at Clear Lake (27.5 miles), or hiking and biking at nearby trails.

Fiddleneck house

The house is great for large groups. The kitchen has every cooking appliance you can ask for. Location is perfect. However, we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the home. The outdoor spaces were covered in dirt and animal droppings. The interior was dirty, and linens stained and old. For the amount we paid per night for a week, it should have been cleaner, and bathroom towels of better quality.

Great space for our whole family

We booked a few stays in the black butte ranch area for a celebration of life. This space was by far our favorite place we stayed. It worked well for hosting the whole family. The hot tub was especially popular. We would absolutely stay here again.

A bit disappointing

Little things made the stay a bit uninspiring. There was only one dishtowel, no salt, lots of dirt under the beds, old worn towels, one tv without the remote required to turn it on, and the other with a cable that did not include any of the 3 major networks or ESPN, hence no football could be watched. Otherwise, it was as advertised and ok.

Stocked kitchen and easy

Amazing for our friend group that loves to cook. We were worried there would be bare minimum pans and dishes, but we were impressed! The only big disappointment was a couple of the king size beds upstairs were really bad… one had a crater like we’ve never seen. Black Butte Ranch was an amazing destination that we would do again and the house was, for the most part, very comfortable, especially the wood burning fireplace. Thank you!

Great Family Home

We've stayed in BBR many times and this home was the BEST we've stayed in. The floorpan was perfect for multiple families to share and have their own space. Very walkable to lodge area. Kitchen was well stocked. Long table in dining area was perfect for family meals. We will definitely stay here again.

Black Butte Aug 2022

The property itself is very nice. 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms makes it so convenient for everyone. Great location! Great dining table so we all were able to sit together for meals. Only one big suggestion for the owners regarding the house itself. There is NO PLACE to put food. When you have a house that sleeps as many people as this one does you have to know that there will be a lot of food. There is not one cabinet and only one small bottom drawer that was empty and available to put food stuffs. So food had to be out on counters in stacks. The cleaning of the property is where the problems were. Mouse droppings were found on the pillows and comforter in one bedroom and blood was found on the comforter of another bedroom. The people cleaning need to lift up their eyes and dust above the windows and the lights, wipe off the top of the microwave. The downstairs master does not have a bed frame so the mattress and what used to be called the box springs sits on the floor. The bottom box is covered with a sheet or some other covering but it is filthy and is clearly not changed periodically. Also the outside deck, which is quite nice with plenty of space really should have been blown off. There were mouse droppings or squirrel droppings under the window along with dirt and pine needles. I certainly expect pine needles and some dust but it clearly hadn't been swept or blown for a while. The rental agency was always quick to reply to fix any issue with the exception that the night before we left I requested additional laundry soap and dishwasher soap so I could start the last load as requested. I was told it would be handled by the local representatives but they never got in touch and nothing was delivered. IF the cleaning issues are addressed then I would certainly recommend this house, especially if the owner cleans out some of the drawers or cabinets so there is someplace to put food stuffs.

amazing place

Can't go wrong at Black Butte Ranch. This home was perfect and comfortable. Love the decor. Very cool fireplace, high ceilings, updated bathrooms and they updated and kept the charm of the home. So cozy, lots of windows and wood accents. I would only let the home owner know that maybe get a new grill. Everything else was PERFECT!! Hot tub was very clean and functioned perfectly, which is rare. Usually owners have them but they are not operational. I would come back! The place was better than the pictures.
