"We loved spending our Thanksgiving at the nest. We found everything we needed to cook in the kitchen (except a wine key!) The beds, bedding, and towels were high quality, and we loved using the gas fireplace to create a cozy environment. It is easy to access the local Ingles and the town of Cashiers. We used to amenity center one day - you need to go to the welcome center to purchase your amenity cards. Our only suggestion is a curtain over the sliding glass door in the main room and some pot...

"Fabulous location - so close to Clemson University. The house was exactly as described. Clean linens, clean towels, clean spaces. My recommendations would be better lighting on the steep driveway. We arrived after dark and it was nearly impossible see the curve of the driveway from the street. Also, since the driveway is very steep, there should be a railing or some sort of support. and also a railing into the house. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and would certainly come...

"Our family trip to Sapphire was full of adventure to waterfalls, kayaking, great restaurants, and relaxing at the nearby resort’s indoor pool/ hot tub. The house is on a lake that does not allow loud boats so the kayaking was smooth. One of the bedrooms had a private balcony and my adult daughters appreciated the other bedrooms with a full bath for each person. The owners were very communicative and helped make the vacation perfect! "

"We had a weekend family stay. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was broken and overfull of dirty and smelly dishes. There was loads of trash under beds and the few towels that were clean actually smelled so bad when used. That said, the owner did refund our cleaning fee, when asked. It appears the dishwasher has been out of commission a while, it would have been helpful to know and we would have brought disposable goods.The property itself is lovely and my kids enjoyed exploring around the creek and...

"The home is a great location, close to many hikes and easy drive to Brevard. My kids loved using the boats on the lake and the home was very relaxing. The dock is not there anymore but the bank is sandy and easy to beach the boats on. Owner was very responsive to questions. Would definitely love to stay there again. "
