OUACHITA RIVER CABIN LIKE NO OTHER YOU WILL FIND!!!!

It sleeps 6 it has 2 queen size bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a queen size air coil sleeper sofa. It also has a washer and dryer. It has direct access to the Ouachita River. This is a brand new cabin with all the amenities. All televisions are smart tvs. It has WiFi, and alexa command outdoor audio. We also have cameras outside for safety. It is completely furnished with everything you need. It has a firepit, riverside lounging just a few feet from the river. A gas grill on the deck and a charcoal grill with prep table by the river. You can swim, fish, or kayak directly in front of the cabin. This is a beautiful cabin with an awesome view.

We had a great stay at this cabin. Chad clearly takes pride in the property. The cabin matched the listing and photos exactly. It was clean. We traveled with our 2-year-old, and it worked well for our family. The covered/gated porch was a highlight. Our son could roam safely while we drank our coffee.The views are beautiful, and the swing set and grassy yard made it kid friendly. We walked along the river shoreline to a gravel bar for playing and fishing, which was a big win.If you’re planning river time with kids, expect sand. Not a problem, but sturdy water shoes helped. We’d happily stay here again.

2nd stay at Quachita River cabin and it was as good as our first. The cabin is clean and well stocked. The beds are very comfortable. The outdoor experience is peaceful and beautiful. Sitting out on the deck along the river is truly breathtaking. Hope to be back next year.The host is attentive and prompt in responding to messages.

Absolutely over the top quality comfort. Virtually everything is provided for your convenience. A quick stop at Bob's in Mt. Ida for groceries and you are set. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils, cookware, coffee pot, microwave, etc...soaps and cleaning supplies as well! Nice towels, full laundry and great beds. Most of all Chad made us feel welcome and came out to give us an overview of the cabin and area. The location is picture postcard perfect. Outdoor cooking options included gas grill, charcoal BBQ, and grill covered firepit complete with toasting forks for marshmallows or hotdogs. Indoor and outdoor showers, faux fireplace that does put off heat also adds to the indoor ambiance. Area information was available at the property. Great place to set up base camp for the many beautiful Arkansas State and National Parks and a trip to Hot Springs. Make a stop at the Shangri-la Cafe on Lake Ouachita off 270 for mile high meringue pie and home cooking. Recommend Hickory Nut Mountain Vista and Lake Ouachita Vista Tail. The fall leaves became more vibrant each day of our week long stay! Thanks Chad...this is a Six Star property!

Ouachita River cabin was nice, you have a great view of the river, no Mountain View’s. The cabin itself is nice. The seclusion was peaceful, no road noise. The one problem we had was directly across the river from the cabin, around 2-3 times a day people are fishing, canoeing and partying. Some kids were partying/swimming in the river until almost midnight one night. That was really the only issue we had. Other than that the cabin was stocked with all the essentials you needed even a first aid kit. You’re about 18 minutes from Mt Ida. So plan accordingly. The electricity went out for about 4 hours one night apparently a car hit a pole. But there is no cell service and it gets incredibly dark if it’s cloudy so flash lights are a must. Fishing was not good in front of the cabin, ask Chad about fishing he sent me to another spot and I was wearing the bass out after that. As well as amazing rock hunting! Be aware of the river when raining the river rose on us 2-3 feet in about an hour or 2. Overall we enjoyed Ouachita River Cabin.

Great Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! It was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The owner was fantastic about checking in to ensure we were well taken care of. I’d definitely love to stay here again!

Amazing Experience

My brother and I were looking for a secluded, small town town access, with multiple hiking trails nearby with water view accommodations. The fully stocked house included an amazing river view that filled our early coffee morning experience with sounds of the flowing river and a sun rise that was breathtaking. The small town had good food options and small town hospitality. The access to many forrest trails gave us so many options we will get to experience new trails in our next visit.Can’t wait to come back!

Outstanding property, just what we were looking for. Located on scenic bend in Ouachita River which includes still water as well as a gravel shoal that changes to a stretch of rapids. Far bank is a high undeveloped bluff and gives a scenic view and sense of remoteness. The ground was covered in snow and made a postcard scene. We plan to return when the weather warms and experience a different season. Stayed 3 nights.

River Cabin for the win!

Cad (owner) thought of everything when putting this cabin together. There is everything you need for a perfect stay. Location, cleaniness, communication, information and ideas for spending your day hiking, water sports and local eateries. Spent the Thanksgiving holiday here with my husband and our fur babies. Thanks Chad for a great stay.

Exceeded greatly our expectations!

What a wonderful cabin on a beautiful river! We stayed for three nights, and wish now we had stayed longer! I cannot overstate how wonderful the experience was. We definitely hope to return soon! Chad was also a great host and we appreciate his help and responsiveness!

Peaceful, Beautiful Cabin On A Clear River

It was so peaceful sitting on the porch and patio next to the river, listening to nature. The Cabin was very clean and well stocked. We plan on going back to this cabin again.

Chad is a phenomenal host. He was patient with all my questions and had great advice for whatever I was bugging home with. The property is more beautiful than described. Clean, tranquil, and peaceful with baby deer everywhere. I don't think you could find a better spot!

Perfect Rental in most peaceful beautiful location!

Our 4 night stay was absolutely the best. The scenery is so beautiful and mesmerizing and very quiet location. The home is very comfortable and well taken care of and provides all the comforts of home. The outdoor living space has everything needed for any season you choose to visit. Hope to return and stay here in the summer. This winter trip was perfect for relaxing and unwinding after the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
